The large-eyed, solemn-looking and precocious child actress made her film debut as Cher's youngest daughter in "Mermaids" (1990). After a bit part in "The Hard Way" (1991), Christina Ricci won notice for her deliciously deadpan performance as Gomez and Morticia Addams' mischievous daughter Wednesday in "The Addams Family" (1991).
While the first "Addams" entry relegated her to a supporting role, albeit with the best lines, the sequel, "Addams Family Values" (1993), offered the youngster the chance to carry half the film in an astonishingly funny summer-camp sequence....
She's like 26 or 27 this year. I always thought she is 23 this year but I was wrong. Anyway, I really like her when she acted in Casper.
She's that old already. Sigh.
