The 2 Days 1 Night Kuala Lumpur Trip

We only spent less than 12 hours in Kuala Lumpur but it was time well spent! We went to meet our KL friends, reviewed a hotel, and a cafe.

We met up with Christopher who took his time off to spend the entire day with us!

Hualong Fishhead Steamboat New SG50 Menu - King's Menu (Month of July)

 Hualong Fishhead Steamboat always surprises me with their new menu and mouth-watering dishes! If you're in Ang Mo Kio, do drop by Hualong and try their food. I promise you will not regret it!

For the month of July, they came up with the SG50 set menu! My favorite will be the Wok Fried Salted Egg King Prawns, Sambal Kangkong and Hualong Claypot Fishead.

Their dishes are always plated nicely even when they have high volume of traffic at their stall.

I've been to Hualong Fishhead Steamboat so many times, their standards never dropped.

They are opened every Mon - Sun: 11.00am - 2.30pm and 4.30pm - 11.00pm.

Great Hospitality from Ceria HOTEL, Bukit Bintang

The Ceria Hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the famous Bukit Bintang shopping area and provides comfortable accommodations with bathtubs in the private bathroom. Wi-Fi is available for free throughout the property.

It is just right behind Berjaya Times Square!

The staffs there are super friendly and they actually can remember which room you stayed in. When I was requesting for extra towel, they nodded their head with a smile without even asking for my room number. 

Surprise, surprise, they knocked on my door with that extra towel.

Enjoy Your Stay at Dusit Thani Bangkok!

2 weeks ago, I was in Bangkok to cover Songkran Festival and also did a short doucmentary.I managed to contact the Marketing Manager for Dusit Thani and she was very prompt with her reply.

When you're in the marketing and social media department, it is a must to be quick, and efficient and Dusit Thani's marketing and social media in charge did just that.

Located in the heart of bustling Bangkok, is this quiet oasis which was my home for two days and one night.

From the moment you arrive it is obvious that they’ve thought about every aspect of your stay.

  I want to thank Ms. Kasamaphan Lourvanij for the wonderful and warm hospitality!
I approached the spectacular front desk area and was overwhelmed, pleasantly overwhelmed though. The staff greeted me graciously and commenced the check-in procedure. If you are a regular guest, you get checked in at the counter, otherwise, you get checked in inside your room.   I was given the Twin Club Suite which I will give FULL MARKS.

Inside the room, all the necessary documents were waiting on my desk. yes, I had my own office just outside my bedroom complete with a desk, office supplies, a TV and a couch.

I was also told about the room and hotel amenities.

There are four separate rooms in this room; the Club Room; a bedroom, a living room/office, the bathroom/toilet and the closet. I say the closet is a room as its huge and I can walk in store my clothes, get my robe as well as store my luggage.

The doors to the bathroom and the living room from the bedroom can both be closed off for privacy. I had a TV in both the bedroom and the living rooms. At night I had a turn down service. As I sat by my desk, I had a view of the city below me. All well done I thought.

  One thing I look out for when I stay in a hotel is their bathroom! It is a must to have a clean bathroom and it is a PLUS if they have a bathtub! Dusit Thani is definitely a plus PLUS because they have a beautiful and clean bathroom equipped with a very big bathtub and shower cubicle.   Look at their decors.Lovely. Stunning.

I even have my own walk in wardrobe!     Welcome plate of fruits!








Just a breeze. The day prior, I had received a note from the Rooms Manager asking if I needed anything to make departure easier. I had also been asked at the Dusit Club if I needed a car to get to the airport.
