At Absolute Juice, they use 100% pure juice, freshly COLD PRESSED, and no sugar added!

Indochilli is a nice, cosy little restaurant nestled unassumingly along Zion Road, right opposite Great World City. The location is a little confounding given the parking accessibility and human traffic rate; the row of shop houses at Zion Road sits facing a busy main road, so it is unlikely that there will be random patrons walking by unless they are specifically headed towards the area or dropping off there.

(Food Tasting):Old Kim Guan

OKG Express - Old Kim Guan served 'home cooked' Chinese food at Nex Mall, #01-58 (near to UOB Bank). Indeed, I felt that OKG Express lived up to their tag line of  "the good old taste of home cooking".

They served me their curry chicken, and preserved vegetables with pork. OKG served up very nice and fragrant rice. Without excellent 'fluffy' rice, chicken curry would not taste nice no matter how good it was.

(Food Tasting): Desserts and Coffee at Forty Hands

Tiong Bahru is quickly becoming known as one of the trendiest neighbourhoods in Singapore, and one of the reasons is the presence of cafes like Forty Hands. This Melbourne-inspired cafe has an artsy atmosphere, fantastic fair-trade coffee and makes one of the best breakfasts in Singapore.

The cafe’s name comes from the fact that, on average, twenty people (and therefore forty hands) are involved in production of coffee from field to cup. The coffee served at Forty Hands is fair-trade and prepared by expert baristas, resulting in happy coffee workers and happy coffee drinkers.

At S$3.50 for a single espresso to S$5 for a latte, Forty Hand’s prices are lower than chains like Starbucks for a far better quality product. Their house blend is always available and is well balanced, but coffee connoisseurs should enquire about the seasonal single-origin coffees that are available until they inevitably sell out.

(Food Review): Ivy's Hainanese Herbal Mutton Soup

The master chef, Max Ng, is a true blue Hainanese. The same can be said of his aromatic traditional Hainanese herbal mutton soup. Stewed for hours with more than 20 kinds of herb, the soup is delightfully flavourful, the mutton tender and juicy. Best combined with a dab of
his home-made chilli paste, guaranteed to make you say "shiok!" and yearn for more.

The Hainanese’s greatest contribution to Singapore’s cuisine has to to be Chicken rice. But this little gem of a dish is rising up the ranks, in my book.

This unassuming little stall makes some of the best Asian style soup around. What’s the difference? Asian style soup is more like broth. It is much thinner than the creamy rich soups in Europe and America. Western style soup is almost a full meal in itself. Asian soups are lighter and are meant to whet the appetite more, before the main courses arrive.

For a light lunch and to get away from the greasy, heavy meals, this is a good choice.

The Adventure at Adventure Cove

The other day, I met up with John Lu, Jeffrey and Darryl and went to The Adventure Cove. It was freaking crazy 'cuz I don't know how to swim.

I just pretended I knew. LOL.

And I survived.

Gorging on Korean BBQ food (Arirang Korean Restaurant)

Simply Awesome Body Massage at Feet Haven (Serangoon Gardens, 4A Maju Avenue)

You Do It With Vabene Watches!

You will LOVE Arirang Korean Restaurant

Arirang serves the most authentic Korean cuisine - ala Carte buffet style. You get to grill our own food on a nice BBQ grill from a splendid selection of meats - seafood (fish, mussels and squid), pork, beef and chicken, on a menu of over 50 items.

When you walk in to the store, they will actually ask what you want to eat, BBQ or ala carte food. If you ask for BBQ, they will give you a menu that have side-dish, meat, drinks, dessert, and others for you to write the quantity you want.

After that you can just pass it back to the waitress and wait for your food to be served! It's as simple as that. Their spicy chicken n pork taste really mouth-watering.

Dinner Buffet @ Straits Cafe, Rendezvous Grand Hotel
