In a career that spanned 30 years, some of Ernest’s notable credits include the title role on Broadway’s M Butterfly and Hell’s Kitchen. He starred in the ground-breaking local film, Bugis Street, Jack Neo’s Money No Enough and more recently in Michelle Chong’s Already Famous. He also left his mark in local theatre productions including Sperm, 3 Women, Army Daze, Office Politics and is also a familiar face on local television series, Growing Up, Point of Entry, Triple 9 and Masters of the Seas.
Ernest is also the creator of the “ESCAPE” program, which combines art therapy, drama therapy, public speaking and team building activities commissioned by various schools and work establishments.
