New Year Resolutions & The Baking Cookies Day

I always did not manage to fulfil my new year resolutions for the past few years, let alone remembering them. So this year, I have make it to a point to at least fufil 50 percent of my new year resolution. It will be great if I can fulfil all. Well, I'll see how it goes.

Last year, I don't remember having alot of downs compared to 2006. I'll tell you; 2006 and 2005 were the two worst years. But last year was pretty much okay. Just a few minor setbacks and major ones towards the ending of the year.

Well, I am happythat I am brought forward to this new year with a big bang celebration. That should kick start everything.

Now, for my resolution.

Currently, I weigh freaking 69 kilogram compared to last year 64 kilogram. My god! I'm partly to be blame for not exercising. So my first new year resolution will be to at least have 61 kilogram in two months time. Achievable? Yes. I did it before.

Looks like I really have to discipline myself. And I must stop eating unhealthy food. What are those unhealthy food? Mac Donalds, KFC, fried oyster.

I shall cut down my intake of fried oyster and mac donalds. They are the killers.

Now, for my second resolution. Last year, it was a financially bad year for me except towards the end of the year, I received a few cheques from the revenues of my blog.

So I hope this year it will be a financially good year for me.

This year will be really, really different for me because I want to travel overseas. And die die I must go to Phuket or Krabi. Then to Genting. I want to try my hands on the casinos there. Woohoo! And then to Taiwan and end of year, it will probably either be Australia or Shanghai.

This year will be the travelling year.

Last but not least, I want to get a proper job and not sitting down and facing my laptop 24/7 and let my blog do the work. I want to work in big companies or at least places that I am comfortable working at. Then, I shall earn lots and lots of money.

Hope I can fulfil all my new year resolutions!

Yesterday was baking cookies day or should I say night. Because I only came over to my darling's house at 7. But it was fun. We baked cookies till like one in the morning.

We went to cold storage at Holland Village to buy the ingredients and utensils for baking cookies.

I still remember how badly I wanted to go to Holland Village every day because there, I feel calm and peace. It's a nice place to live at, shop at, and be at.

Beating the eggs and butter wasn't an easy task. I did the beating first, then my honey, then my honey's mother. But it was fun.

We used one egg and half slice of butter and then mixed the cookie baking powder.

Oh my god, it's like my first time baking cookies! It's so so fun.

Then we placed the cookies into the oven.

Haha, the cookies looked distorted; out of shape.

Then the cookies began to expand. God!

The cookies grew! Help!

And it was alittle overbaked.

Failure at first attempt but hey, it's alright. We can always try again.

We decided to mould them smaller so that when they expand in the oven, it will be of an appropriate size.

Not bad hor?

I was so happy that for a guy like me who doesn't really cook and bake, to achive something like this, was already good enough for me. Of course, I will try to perfect my baking skills.

Then, we baked the chocolate cookies.

A bit burn here and there but still there are edible.

Talkng about my new year resolutions huh? The cookies are killer! Fat fat fat!
