What I Find Important In A Relationship

What I find important in a relationship :

Being Proactive. After training by my second ex, i now recognize that during the earlier romancing period, it is important to be

1) Sensitive to what your date wants/Like

Usually if your date does a particular thing consistently (E.g Constant smses etc ) , chances are thats is his language of love. And it may be important to communicate with him in that same language.

2) Be appreciative when your date do something for you

haha oh well , sometimes the other half blunders but hey its the thought that counts, whatever it is if the other half done if for good intention for you , do better give your other half a good pat on the back or a much deserved massage.

3) Up the ante with lots of suprises and thoughtful gesture

Important ? Yes came it is. Why ? 3 reasons

a) Faith and trust doesnt arise out of a vacuum. When you plan or do such things for your date, you are making self sacrifices on your time /money etc... this self sacrifices gives a reinforcing cycle of sensing of security and love. Just like a mother who constant be there for a child when he needed her most, their bonding is the strongest. As opposed to a mother who was never there for her child or a father who always beat up his children chances are the child will not have faith in his/her father.

b) When you indulge in the preparation of this surprises, chances are usually in the process you are already thinking of the person thinking of all the happy moments and this further helps to cement your love for that person.

c) Resistance to 3th parties. There will always be someone better. But not necessary someone who has more shared memories or love you more . This accumulated experience of self sacrifices and shared memories will hold the relationship when there are problems.
