Make Friends, Not Foes

A university lecturer once did this test on his class. He instructed his students to write down a list of names of the people whom they hate on a piece of paper.

And so all the students did. Some wrote a long list within seconds, some wrote afew while some wrote none at all.

The lecturer noticed this trend, that students who wrote alot of names on the piece of paper are more likely to get their own names written on other student's paper.

Whereas students who didnt write anything, have the least chances to get their own names written on other student's paper.

This phenomenon explains one thing. How you treat people, reflects upon yourself. It's a mirrored-effect.

When you smile into the mirror, a smile gets reflected back. And when you hate somebody, someone will bound to hate you back. So if you have a long hate list of names, erase it today.

Respeito

Most people appreciate receiving respect from others; however, much of the time people fail to give respect. Respect takes a number of forms: Respect for other people, respect for people's property, and perhaps most importantly, respect for oneself. If you want others to give you respect, you must first learn how to give respect yourself.

“Respect” is a word like “empathy”, “love”, and “compassion”, that everyone agrees connotes a positive attribute; however, there are innumerable ideas about what respect means.

I endeavor to stay open to the facts of each person's suffering, including culturally specific experiences of degradation and harm, realizing that at times I may neither see nor understand another person's hurt, even when I have the best of intentions.

I believe we all must learn to criticize with careful and respectful intentions taking into count the possibility that our words may be taken out of context and used for other purposes other than what they were intended to be used when written. That is especially true with the written word and on the internet specifically.

Personally I have found it helpful in my efforts to stay alert to my own motivation, and to check my intentions.

KFC's Drumstick Is Small

Let me take you back to a few days ago when I was having my lunch at Cineleisure's KFC. I ordered a two piece meal. One original and one cripsy. One thigh meat and one drumstick. Service was good and efficient but what I was displeased was the portion of the chicken.

Look at how small the drumstick is. It has shrunk. KFC's chickens used to be of a big portion. What happened?

Kent's palm is smaller than his face and the drumstick is even smaller than Kent's palm! This is abit upsetting.

Any KFC's staffs here? Else I'll send an email over to HQ.

The Hurling Messages

I was reading a book, "How to kill someone in 4 hours" and abruptly, I was interrupted by a sms. I was wondering who could it be since it was a new number and I only had given out to my othr half and my family members.

"Hey, Grace here. Do you know anyone who had problems with their parents when they converted to Christianity? How did they deal with it? Could you pass them my number so that I could speak to them? Thanks!"

My mind went completely blank for that moment. I was like, "WHAT?"

I clicked the reply button and wanted to send out a message immediately saying that I did not know of any Grace but NO! I decided to reply with another message. I was feeling devilish at that point of time and decided to prank her abit.

I replied, "No, I do not have any friends who converted to Christianity. They became wiccans, pagans and witches. They embrace magic. They will be finding you really soon. They are going to put a hex on you. Beware Grace!"

No reply from her.

I was giggling and then I stopped.

A few days later, she messaged me again, "Arcane work question ahead! Do you know any Singaporeans working in NYC who got laid off from financial industry jobs? Can I talk to them? Thanks so much! Sorry for the trouble!"

I was like, not again. I want peace.

I replied, "No, you don't have to know them. They are happy getting laid off."

A few minutes later, she replied me back, "They like to get laid off?"

I rolled my eyes and stopped messaging her.

Phonesex Or Real Sex ?

Phone sex is a type of virtual sex that refers to sexually explicit conversation between two or more persons via telephone, especially when at least one of the participants masturbates or engages in sexual fantasy.

Is phonesex really that good? I mean its just you conversing dirty languages with the other person on the other end. And then you moan. Your hand starts touching your body, caressing them gently and then proceeding to the genitals.

How is that fun? How does that excites you?

Phone sex conversation may take many forms, including (but not limited to): guided, narrated, and enacted suggestions; sexual anecdotes and confessions; candid expression of sexual feelings or love; discussion of very personal and sensitive sexual topics; or just two people listening to each other masturbate.

Let's say you converse with a total stranger over the phone and you moan and you talk dirty things and the person follow suit, you get high and release your loads. Afterwhich, the other so happens to be a ugly being or someone overly obesed. Isn't that gross? Or someone you just conversed with happened to be an old lady instead of a young girl.

Its better face-to-face, at least, there's emotions, and physically present. You can feel the other party.

Men Like Them Big

Often, guys will ogle at other girls on the streets even when they are attached or courting. Guys often look at their beautiful faces, defined body or big breast. If you girls are flat, they would just look away and concentrate on their girlfriend.

If you don't have the boobs and the looks, then that's it.

They often say beauty lies within. I say its not true. Most of my guy friends whom I went out with will look at girls with big breast instead of those with smaller ones regardless if they're average looking or beautiful.




I just don't get why guys like larger breast.

I find it rather disturbing. Their cleavage will be spilling out of their dresses or tops.

I asked most of my guy friends and they responded,

"Good, because when we are 'making love', I can look at her breast or my 'thang' can be place somewhere else instead of that part if they don't want it."


Women were never designed to have figures like adolescent boys, donning androgynous attire, making statements about equality and indirectly expressing the fear of being labelled "feminine".

If women were designed to look like men, Mother Nature would have made the human race hermaphrodites who reproduced asexually.

If thin and shapeless is beautiful, why do so many women opt for breast enlargement? Yes, because most men prefer women to look like women, i.e. with a bit of meat on them.

And, far from being attractive to have a skinny body and huge breasts, it looks abnormal and unnatural. If you want large breasts, you need amply proportioned hips to balance the look, yet you never hear of women requesting hips enlargement.

What I prefer? - Hmm...

Kids Have Sex At A Much Younger Age Nowadays

ALMOST half the singles here admitted to having had sex, 50% with multiple partners - a sign that Singapore is no longer the puritan society it once was.

My friends are like addicted to sex.

"To many youths, sex is no big deal. It’s for the thrill. There are no strings attached,"

For previous generations, sex was for procreation; today it is for recreation.

But thats not the main issue.

Nowadays, teenagers were also experimenting with sex at a younger age.

What is happening is a trend, or rather a Pandora’s Box opened up by Web pornography and imported lifestyles that are accessible to most teenagers.

Nowhere are the changes shown clearer than Singapore’s nightspots, where singles frequent. "Some women work hard, party hard and drink hard. It’s part of their lifestyle," And it’s no fruit juices and mocktails either.

The "smart" island is linked by an underground fast-speed cable system to promote the use of the Internet for business and education.

The computer has long become a common sight in the classroom. Many teens are savvy enough to put up a simple website. But the flip side is their exposure to a dark new world of pornography, sadism and perversion.

When I looked at those kids aged 13 - 15 walking at the streets, holding hand, and kissing in public, I already pictured them having sex in bed. At that young age, having sex?

Damn, thats pretty young. When I was at their age, I was a innocent and naive boy.

Unsightly Sight To See Hairs On Woman's Armpit?

Proper grooming habits are a must. Highly unattractive but it is something that could be fixed pretty easily (though bringing it up wouldnt).

I don't find it appealing when girls don't shave their pits. It's not that hard to do like the legs are for girls so there is no excuse. Does this girl even wear deodorant? Does she shave her legs? I'd be curious how she'd react if you asked her why she doesn't shave her arm pits.

A few days ago, I was talking to one of my friends whom I know from work. So at one point of time, when she was talking, she lifted her left hand up. Boy was I surprised to see what I saw.

She has armpit hairs. And they're not like only mild. Gawd!

I immediately looked away from her.

What say you?

We are only about 5,000 years away form the golden age.

Dark Ages: Hair everywhere - ape women.

Enlightenment: Hair on head, pubic, armpits, and legs.

Golden Age: Hair on head only.

Apocalypse: bald everywhere.

Guys = Armpit Hair Or No Armpit Hair

I don't see why it is viewed as girly. If a woman doesn't shave her legs we don't say it make her manly. There are many reasons that a guy would shave his armpits. One being hygiene. Think of how nasty you would feel if you didn't shave your armpits.

The sweat soaked hair bunched up under your arms sounds attractive doesn't it. I'm not sure why people feel that men have to be hairy. It is simply conditioned in our culture that way. There are countries where girls don't shave.

There are a lot of guys who are now shaving their body hair. It is much easier to stay clean.

Basically I'm saying that is his choice, be respectful. Would you want him to tell you he thinks you should quit shaving? If you think he is more feminine than you, that is another issue.

Shaving your hair is not feminine. Crying during sensitive movies, wanting to go shopping, and reading teen magazines is feminine.

I don't shave my armpit hair on a regular basis but I will make sure it's clean shaven, muahaha!

Shaving your armpit isn't a very feminine task and I think very few straight/bisexual men are more feminine than women.

Others might have a condition or something. Perhaps it bothers him. You shouldn't freak out about him because one simple thing - I'm quite sure he can name a few freakish things about you.

Some guys have an enormous amount of axillary hair and feel better shaving it off. Some have a sweat problem that is better handled without hair there.

If you feel he's more feminine than you, then there's your problem, not just whether he shaves.
