Fashion Beach Festival: Armoire Fashion Show

Bigger, bolder and with more carats, the Singapore edition of the global beach festival phenomenon, Fashion Beach Festival, which was held on August 30th 2014 runs over 15 hours of non-stop partying, with an aim to set the record for the most bottles of bubbly consumed in a single day and the debut of the world’s first trilliant cut diamond collection worth $2,000,000.

In the frenzy of fashion markets that satiate the appetites of fashion enthusiasts with endless choices of venues to shop for clothing, Armoire emerges as one not quite similar to the others. While the immense attention to details such as fabric observes a relegation to factors such as pricing and label reputation, Armoire propels to the notion of maintaining the highest standards of fabric quality. 

Living by the belief that “Fabric expresses the way you feel and how you want to represent yourself”, Armoire sees fabric not as an inanimate counterpart of a dress, but a voice that projects what you are made of.

The Xinyi branch is divided into four buildings, connected by sky bridges, the A9 building features runway fashions from Chanel, Gucci, Dior and Prada while A8 features more mainstream clothing, shoes and accessories for men, women and children from brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas and Nine West. A4 is completely devoted to women’s fashion, accessories and make-up. The extensive food court in A8 is a welcome respite for weary shoppers.

Everything in the shop is designed and made in Taiwan, championing the Taiwanese fashion industry. 

With the belief that our attitude towards life affects our style of dress, fashion concept store Chainloop treats dressing oneself as a game. Never taking the process too seriously, they encourage you to garb yourself in goods, which reflect your personality.

Fashion Beach Festival: 48 Models, Four Fashion Shows Featuring Luxury Multi-Labels

Consisting of 48 models draped in two million dollars' worth of diamonds and a curated mix of high street labels taking centre-stage, Fashion Beach Festival is set to redefine luxury on the shores of Sentosa. The 15-hour long event celebrating a day of luxury in the tropics will be covered by FashionTV, a international Fashion and Lifestyle broadcasting television channel to 500 million viewers worldwide, and streamed in Singapore via cable television on Channel 443.

Other event highlights include:

1. Sony Xperia – The festival’s smartphone partner will show-off their state-of-the art mobile phones with stylized performances by an acrobatic artist in a water-filled burlesque martini glass towering above the audience.
2. An invitation to party-goers to be a part of the Singapore Book Of Records by simply popping open a bottle of bubbly and creating history.

Aptly themed Sun.Skin.Diamonds – the festival returns for its second year to the sun-kissed playground of Tanjong Beach Club, located on Asia's leading leisure destination Sentosa, with an impressive music line-up of 19 deejays including home-grown jocks DJ Inquisitive and DJ Zushan spinning non-stop party beats from 11AM till late.

To add to this island extravagance, Bang & Olufsen will back the audio experience with its state-of-the-art automotive technology while VIP package partygoers can enjoy a carefully crafted experience with the Luxe Party Package which will give 20 friends the high-life with a chauffeured limousine ride, personalized bottle service and the crowning jewel – a matching pair of Caraters 0.1 carats diamonds.
