Behind The Scenes; RazorTV's Interview With Me

I was so jittery when they interviewed me. But the journalist, Melissa, managed to calm me down. LOL.





The interview will be aired later at 8pm on RazorTV. And it will be on video on demand by midnight or tomorrow morning.

Spot Me; National Day

My friends went to see me perform for the national day rehearsals. I was elated because there are people I know who watched me perform.

I know the photos are bur but spot me! I am part of the 'D' for the NDP 07.
And part of the 'N' for the NS 40.

I'm so proud of myself!

Rectifying Problems / Handlin` Alone

I was so so busy for the past few days, I couldn't even breathe properly. It's like I was choked. It's like I was being strangled. I had so many things to do.

With the other two medics away again for combat shooting, I was yet again left alone at the company, trying to take all the flying darts.

I had to settle the men's medical appointments, clean the medic corner and sort out the status and M.Cs. And I had to do all that by myself.

I, being the quiet one and the other two being the loud, pushy ones always can't co-ordinate with me. Wait, correction. It was used to. Now we're trying to work together. Hopefully we are.

Just now, in the morning, after I handed my duty over, I was thrown with a problem that was so great. Actually, it wasn't mine to even solve. It was Rashidi's.

There're not enough genesis (oxygen tank) and we took up the last one which was meant to be for the other exercise.

Rashidi had to make a choice of still wanting to ask his officer to continue conduct SOC or should he cancel it else he will jeapordize himself.

I stubbed in, hoping that I could rectify the problem. It took like an hour to finally solve everything. I was happy for myself that even though I wasn't appointed to be the stand-in company medic, I proved useful to many.

No Fishing

Okay, 'No Fishing'. I don't get all the fuss here. Please fish at the jetty instead. Like what's the difference?

I was happily fishing when the nature park guy approached us and said, 'you're not allowed to fish here. If you want to fish, go to the jetty."

A`huh, but why? What's the difference? Still the same what. Fish at the jetty and not fishing at the jetty still the same right?

After being like reprimanded, we left but not with nothing. I caught two fishes. Isn't that great? After many months of not fishing, I've not lost touch of the methods of fishing.

Caught two; great achievements.

I guess they are afraid crocodiles might just come out from the water and eat us up.

Slow Steady Pace

My blog has reached the 2000 mark today. I know, compared to my previous blog with a whooping 8000 average readers per day, this is a small achievement.

Greatest Satisfaction

I like to win and if I don't I get real mad and the next time round you compete with me, I'll make sure I win. I feel great and it satistfy my hunger of wanting to win. I know I may sound childish to most but that's my character.

I've been conquering all the PhotoFinder machines at the arcade and I can only be satisfied if I can write my name down after each game which mean to win and get the top 3 placings. Suntec City, Tiong Bahru Plaza, and Bugis.

I'm a go-getter too. What I think and see is nice, I'll have it.

I went to Bugis to play arcade and what caught my eyes were the soft toy machine. You know, those you have to use the mechanic hands to get the toys etc.

I saw Stitch soft toy and was really tempted to get it.

With just three thrice which was 3 dollars, I managed to get what I want; Stitch soft toy.

Then the arcade personnel placed another in the machine. I was tempted again. I tried like 9 to 12 times but all were near miss.

Now I get it. If luck is on your side and it decided to let you win, do not try to get luck on your side again for the second time. Luck will only come when you do not wish for it.
