(Media Invite): Ground Zero x WOW

Ground Zero recently had a new addition under its umbrella of extensive designer apparels and accessories. Directly from Taiwan comes a new street fashion brand "WOW", established by famous Taiwanese celebrity - Calvin Chen (a member of Taiwanese boy-band Farenheit).

Calvin Chen was the third member to join boyband Fahrenheit in 2005. On Fahrenheit's 2nd album, Chen sung the rap part of the song 心裡有數. 

He recorded his first solo for The X Family soundtrack entitled 你是我所有的回憶. He also sung his own version of 超喜歡你 on his 2010 series 愛似百匯. He frequently sings Fahrenheit's "Sexy Girl" during fan events, like what happened on the "When Love Walked In" event. 

Calvin Chen also recently starred in the movie, "3 Peas in a Pod".

On that day, we celebrated his birthday together with his fans.

Arron was discovered as a popular blogger, Comic discovered him and asked him to take on a role in a drama, at first he thought it was a fraud, but he realized that it was true.

Arron plays piano since he was little, at least more than 10years. Arron also plays the flute 3years ago, he started to learn it cause it looks like a weapon.

Media Press Conference: IO (Taiwanese Rock Band) Interview @ Copthorne King

For a band that has only been "around" the music scene (officially) since 2008, IO has come a long way.

IO is comprised of four regular Taiwanese-Canadian guys whose collective passion for music led them to give up their desk jobs in Vancouver and return to Taiwan to pursue full-time careers in music. But that wasn't as easy as it sounds. During their first year, they were rejected by ALL the major international labels in Taiwan. A little after that, their bass player decided to leave the band. It's safe to say that there was a time when IO didn't seem destined for great success.

The “Unfinished Concert” theme was inspired by her latest TV drama series, Love at Risk’s sub-theme song titled “An unfinished love song”. “Unfinished” refers to Chriz’s constant dedication and passion to sing more well-received songs for her fans and audiences.

IO Band Performed at Switch by Timbre

IO band was set up in 2002 by 4 young Chinese boys in Vancouver, Canada, comprised of lead singer Angus, guitarist Hans, bassist Sho and drummer Cody.

They each had dreams of not being tied to a desk for the rest of their lives, so they immediately pursued music to show what they had lived and learned throughout their young lives. 

Inspired by modern rapid pace of life, with a background of orient and western integrated culture, they created something specially known as Sinorock, bringing a totally new idea to Taiwan music market.
