Whiz Limited founder Hiroaki Shitano was born in Tokyo in 1976. He launched his label in A/W 2000 – first as “Whiz”, then adding the “Limited” three years later.
His line – originally consisting of handmade printed tees – grew in popularity, encouraging him to expanding the brand. In 2003, he opened his flagship Harajuku shop Lump Tokyo.
The brand’s focus is streetwear with a Tokyo outlook. He’s collaborated with many international brands, including Levi’s, Stussy, Disney Marvel, and New Era. He has also teamed up with prolific designer Kazuki Kuraishi for the adidas original sneaker “Felicity”. Shitano’s Whiz
Leather brand features handmade jackets, wallets, and belts.
