My friend, Vikky, seeks funding for a pet project, Indigo Fiesta 2012, a concert conceptualized and organised by Indigo as part of the i-AM 2012 Festival. Indigo is a non-profit organization set up by a group of five students from the School of Arts Management programme in LASALLE College of the Arts who are inspired to provide more options to the youths to be involved with the arts.
Indigo Fiesta 2012 will combine the musicality and style of five independent local bands of different genres. This is the event that will bring together their talents which will add to the learning experience of the youths, bringing with it a focus on developing the interest of youths in the industry.
The concert will be a fundraiser precursor to their workshops which will allow the youths a peak into the industry, in particular, Technical Theatre.
It is in this light they at Indigo would like to seek partnership with you through sponsorship from you for assistance.
The money will be used to cover the production and workshop costs. Through our Technical Theatre Workshop Outreach Programme and the main music event, it is their hope to be able to inspire the youths and cultivate their development of a healthy and holistic interest in our local performing arts scene.
