Managers are people who do things right, while leaders are people who do the right thing. I began to understand what a leader needs to do.
I am understanding the concept of being a leader.
I gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which I really stop to look fear in the face. I must do the thing I think I cannot do.
All of the great leaders have had one characteristic in common: it was the willingness to confront unequivocally the major anxiety of their people in their time. This, and not much else, is the essence of leadership.
I am beginning to know how to lead.
And I have the most kick-ass team ever!
I wouldn't want to trade them for others.
