Finally, It's Legoland Time (Part 1)

Legoland Malaysia is Malaysia's first international theme park that has opened in NusajayaJohorMalaysia on 15 September 2012 with over 40 interactive rides, shows and attractions. It is the first Legoland theme park in Asia and sixth in the world upon its establishment.

The official opening of Legoland Malaysia was made by Sultan Ibrahim Ismail, Sultan of Johor on 22 September 2012. It is the centrepiece of a 5,500,000 sq ft (510,000 m2) integrated complex in the Nusa Cemerlang industrial park, within the Iskandar Malaysia economic region, consisting of a lifestyle retail centre, offices, hotels, service apartments and residential units.

Compared to my previous visit which was in 2012, most of the rides are operational now!

Love Legoland. Spent 6 hours there and had a blast!

Boating School
Would-be captains can take the wheel of their very own battery powered boat.

Minimum age: 8 years old (1-7 years old if accompanied by an adult)
The Boating School has the longest queue among all the rides in LEGOLAND. Up to 3 people can ride in each electrically-powered plastic boat. We waited nearly an hour for a chance to go on it.

Observation Tower
Head 50 metres up for a fantastic view over the whole of LEGOLAND® Malaysia.

Minimum size: 120 cm (none if accompanied by an adult)

Standing at 60m, the Observation Tower is the tallest point of the entire theme park and provides an excellent aerial view of all 7 themed areas and 40 rides and attractions of LEGOLAND Malaysia. Visitors will be lifted to a maximum height of 41m as the Observation Deck meanders upwards in a constant circular motion in 50 seconds. The Observation Tower will be able to hold up to 50 visitors each ride and 1,000 visitors daily.

Legoland Express
See all the sights of the park aboard a life size LEGO® train.

Minimum age: 8 years old (0-7 years old if accompanied by an adult)

We sat on the LEGO Express at the end of our visit when we wanted to rest our weary feet. We enjoyed the ride as it chugged round the perimeters of the Park, giving us a good summary of the rides we’ve taken and a quick overview of the attractions that we’ve yet to cover. You can ride on the LEGO Express at the start of your visit to help you visualise the stops you want to make and plan your day better.
