I Want My Robot To Be...

I want my robot to be a range finder to explore a space and send data to a computer, which creates a virtual model of the physical space.

I want my robot to have the power of perception.

I want my robot to enter dangerous environments and create a 3-D map to help people plan the best way to navigate through or around the area.

And of course, to protect me whenever I am in trouble!
