Rebecca and Katy Perry

Rebecca Black is going to be a pop star whether we all like it or not. Not only did she win a Teen Choice Award for Choice Web Star over the weekend, but she also got up on stage with proper, mega-pop star Katy Perry at one of Katy’s LA shows.

The marvellous Katy has made a habit of covering some of her favourite pop songs during her current Teenage Dreams world tour, and she surprised the crowd with not only a cover of Rebecca’s song Friday, but she also had Rebecca come on stage and sing with her.

Katy introduced Rebecca by saying, “Give it up for the infamous Rebecca Black,” and finished off by saying, “That was our moment!” – a cheeky reference to Rebecca’s next single My Moment.
