I hailed a cab and got in while still talking to my friend on the next line. "Uncle, to Mandai Hill Camp please."
Seriously, when I'm on a cab or a bus, I don't really talk or read books or magazine. I'll just listen to my MP3. Else, I'll get headache. And I'll feel nauseous and then vomit! So whenever I board the same cab with my friends, they will think that I am arrogant but seriously, I'm not. I just don't want to vomit. The feeling is really gross.
"Ai shang le ni ..." I was singing to Fish Leong's song when suddenly I heard a loud BAM! I looked to my right and saw, an old man who was riding his motor operated bicycle flung a few distance before landing to the ground.
Speechless I was. "Uncle, stop the cab!"
Abruptly, the cab pulled over and I got out of the car. The scene; blood all over, the uncle laid motionless on the ground. "What should I do," I asked myself. "I'm a medic, I have got to do something."
"Call ambulance first," I thought.
But someone else already called. I stood perfectly still. He was losing alot of blood. "Someone save him!" a passer-by shouted.
Instantly, I knew he doesn't have much time to live.
It was a hit and run accident. The car who hit the old man was nowhere to be seen. How cruel can the driver be. Nobody took down the car's plate number. Damn! He's going to pay for this. Imagine the old man's wife reaction upon hearing the bad news. Can you live with that, driver?
I hope he goes to jail!
Now, the incident keeps on replaying in my mind. I have to think of porn to get that gory scene out of my mind!
P/S: If anyone witness the accident at Jalan Bukit Merah, at the road near block 28, do not hesitate to report to the police.
