Death Note; Killing Spree

In the beginning of Death Note, we learn that shinigami--gods of death--kill people by writing their names down in notebooks known as (what else?) Death Notes (it's worth noting, pun intended, that in Japanese, "note" is the English loan word for "notebook").

Ryuk is a shinigami who has managed to get his hands on a second Death Note. To alleviate his boredom, he drops it in the human world, where it's soon found by Light Yagami, a high school prodigy.

Light harbors some unusual notions about crime and punishment. Once he discovers that the notebook actually works, he becomes determined to use it to rid the world of evil. He begins killing known criminals en masse--and meanwhile suggests that one day, he will surreptitiously begin killing off corrupt and "useless" people as well.

Ryuk, fascinated by Light's behavior but continuing to maintain that he's neither on Light's side nor on that of the authorities, is content to follow Light around and observe him.

Whatever it is, to cut the story short. He killed himself and the notebook landed on me. Me I say.

So I thought, maybe, I should start killing people.

Whose name shall I write?

Oh ...

"Wo de yi ker xin ... Muack muack."

Right...

I shall kill her by ...

Cause of death; strangled by a pantyhose.

Let's change the rule abit.

Sadako has been a pain in the butt. Really. And she needs a make-over to something cute and nice.

Perfect!
