It took her months to recover from that her and since then, she lead her normal life again.
Till one day...
"Ma`am, how much does this apple costs?" she asked.
"40 cents, my dear." replied the fruit seller.
"I'll take 8 of those please..."
"Sure do, child."
She gathered all the apples in the basket and walked away.
BAM!
The basket of apples dropped to the ground. She was thrown backwards, with nothing to support her from falling. Abruptly, someone grabbed her from behind and gently placed her to the ground.
It was a handsome young lad who had catch her from falling.
He smiled at her.
She blushed and looked away.
"Are you okay?" asked the handsome young lad while reaching his hands out to bring her up to her feet.
"I'm fine..."
"Cindy... My name is Cindy."
He looked at her and smiled yet again, "you can call me Leonard."
She shyly smiled back.
"Your apples... Let me buy new ones for you."
"No!" she shouted. "Please don't. These apples are still fine..."
