Medics @ Nee Soon (Free N Easy)

This is the time when most of us recuperate ourselves after tough trainings.

Ah! I forgot to mention that one of my platoon mates back then at Nee Soon camp can hardly be captured on cam. Why? - Because he's non-existence.

I thought, maybe, they wanted threesome.

Taking Flight

I'm so estatic. I was praised by my Medical Officer, medics and Encik.

"Your O.C and 2IC told me of your great performance at Brunei. A job well done to you. I'm impress." praised Medical Officer.

"Your company medic has told us that you are the best amongst the 3 platoon medics in your company." praised 2nd Sergeant Gerald.

"They wanted a few of the new medics to be upgraded to P2 and they want only the best so I recommended you." said one of the p1 medics.

"You've cleaned your stretcher and the other two did not. You're a good medic." exclaimed Encik.

And thank you so much Tim for sending me back home from camp! I know it was rushing for you and I apologize for that! Thank you so much! By the way, you're not a U.F.O (only he understands).

I was over the top when I was invited to the movie screening, She's the Man at Cineleisure yesterday but sadly, I could not make it due to time constraint.

I booked in camp 15 minutes late. I really should complain that even though there are so many cabs in Singapore, it's difficult to hire them. However, I was relieved to know that no punishment was given to me.

And here I am at home blogging, having my 1/2 day off.

There's only 9 more days to my birthday. Hooray!

Runie Oh Runie!

Runie is ever so mysterious. I can't believe it when he said he was only 16! My oh my! So young but already so talented.
My godbrother, Alex, joined Runie's dancing group and boy was I astonished. Small world indeed.

I was trying to smile.

If you think they are quarrelling, you are wrong. Somehow, I took a photo of them when their were turning their backs on me.

I simply like Yahn's pose. He's natural!

Another when he was not really noticing. Sweet!

Alex looked like a mannequin.

I don't exactly know where Runie is looking at for both of the photos.

This is nice.We are model wannabes.

Happy Birthday, Mum!

On my mum's birthday itself, we went to Lau Pat Sat to have our dinner.

We ordered many satays (chicken and beef).

Previously, a week before, I bought her a cake to celebrate Mothers' day and my mum's birthday on the same particular day.

I wanted to buy the cake she liked but it was gone when I came back to the shop the next day.

Damn!

I ordered myself a happiness plate. the chickens are small, the fries are too little and the coleslaw so yucky.

But what the heck. I just gobble them up.

I went back home to see the cake my family had bought for my mum but did not manage to cut it with them.

Sad I was but I hope the time that I spent together with them will compensate the cutting of cake.

I look so distorted in the photo. And my sister is oh-so fair!

Cheese! I should smile!

Happy Birthday, Mum!

The Chronicles of Life

I think I've died too many times. I mean I have not really die before. It's the feeling of death that was inflicted to me. Muahaha!

No one today can avoid asking the question: What is the meaning of life?

We look for it everywhere: In books, in sports, in love, in sex, in drugs, and in fame and fortune. We compare ourselves to others and find it doesn't matter how high we climb among our peers. We collect material assets and always want more. We may even climb spiritual ladders without finding the answer, because we are asking the wrong question.

So the meaning of life becomes: How do we get in that game?

For the unbeliever, it can start with a simple, honest prayer: "God, if you are there, please help me. I don't know what to believe. I'm not happy with my life and the things I've achieved. Please help me have the faith to start walking with you."

As we lift up our circumstances - good and bad - to God in prayer, we will find things improving. Some problems God will simply take away from us - anxieties about things we cannot control, desires for things we should not want (addictions) are good examples. Some things God will send back for us to work on - broken relationships where we are partly at fault, missions God has given us that we have tried to ignore. Some things God will fix - healing sickness, removing evil influences from our lives, redirecting us away from situations we thought we would never resolve.

The more we listen to God, the better we will know His voice. We can get plenty of practice by reading scripture and paying special attention to those passages we don't understand - or don't like. These passages offer huge signposts to the areas of our lives that are not in accordance with God's will.

Today, marks the new me.

Raged

For the past two days, I was raged by a few people. Now the spookiest part is that whenever I walked past a lamppost, it will flicker. And that only happens when I'm mad.

Was the rage in me too strong that it made the lights flickered? It already happened a few times.

But I'm loving it!

Roaring Conversation

I cannot explain what that title means.

You

Sometimes, they should do a little self reflection on themselves.

You called Xeny a flirt by just embracing someone so passionately on the stage whereas you did dirty dancing with so many young people. Shame on you! You claim to be all so mature and calm but when people confront you, you lose control.

"I don't gossip about others." said you. But goodness, look at how your mouth opens and all those juicy gossips flying out from it.

When a lot knows you and when you make the slightest mistake, people will take notice and make a big hoo-haa out of it.

Truth

"...is the opposite of lies."
"...is to tell the truth."
"...differs from person to person."
"...what is truth but what we believe to be truth?"

"I don't believe that there's one truth. There are so many different people, and there are so many different ways you can look at things. I don't see how there could be just one truth."

These quotes, giving vague descriptions of truth, point towards relativism - a doctrine instructing that truth and morality are relative and not absolute. "Relativism asserts that what is accepted as truth is relative to a person's situation or standpoint, and denies that any standpoint is uniquely privileged over all others.

If truth is relative, then absolute right and absolute wrong become doubtful and obscure. And if truth is relative, then only subjective and indefinite answers exist for the purpose and meaning of life. So is there any absolute or real truth in this complex and uncertain world?

"Truth sits upon the lips of dying men." - Matthew Arnold

Stomachache!

For the past 2 days, I kept going to the toilet.

Stomachache!

I think I ate the wrong food!

POOT!

Coming 21

I'm turning 21 soon and it's time for me to prepare for my birthday party if time allows me to do so. I'm involved in the NDP 2006 so my schedule will be packed and my Saturdays' will be burned.

So, crossing my fingers, praying, and hoping that I could get a birthday off.

I'm turning 21 and I can watch RA movies soon!

- I'm the only medic amongst the 9 new ones who got upgraded to P2 at the medical center.

- I met up with my blog idol, Eddy Waga Waga at TTSH whilst sending one of my patients.

- My duty was switched with one of the new medics, and that made me so elated.

- Had an unexpected twist with my love life.

- My blog is catching up with the rankings in a particular competition from 77th position to 35th position.

Secrets

This box contains all my secrets and fetishes.

It's locked with a unique lock and only a special key can open it.

Cam Whore, I Am

I should not have used flash. I looked old in this photo. On the contrary, Yahn look charismatic! I did the wrong pose la!

I look so distorted in both photos. I don't like to smile. I look hideous when I smile. *Laughs*

Cab Affair

They installed a Sony Ericsson phone with a headphone attached to the phone. Ah, something new I must say.

I wanted to try it out so badly but I don't want to be too shameless.

Minutes later, I slowly leaned forward and touched the handphone. And my two hands started to fondle with the phone.

Out of desperation, I tried to detach it from the box.

I want to bring this handphone home!

The driver stared at me.
