Dendy Street, Beach Pavilion and Surrounds. Brighton Beach.

Brighton is a beach-side suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 11 km south-east of Melbourne's central business district. Its local government area is the City of Bayside. At the 2011 Census, Brighton had a population of 21,257. Brighton is named after Brighton in England.

Brighton houses some of the wealthiest citizens in Melbourne with grand homes, and the development of large residential blocks of land. On the beach, Beach Road is a popular cycling route, with the Bay Trail off-road walking/cycling tracks also following the coastline.

Dendy Street Beach, just south of Middle Brighton, features 82 colourful bathing boxes, which are one of the tourist icons of Melbourne. The boxes share a uniformity of size and build, and a regular arrangement along the beach, and are the only surviving such structures close to the Melbourne CBD. A Planning Scheme Heritage Overlay on the boxes by the Bayside City Council restricts alterations, and all retain their Victorian era architecture, such as timber frames, weatherboard sidings, and corrugated iron roofs, without amenities such electricity or running water. The bathing boxes may only be purchased by residents paying local council rates, and as of 2008 were selling for prices in the range of A$200,000, with annual council rates of around A$500, despite their lack of amenities. In 2009 plans were announced to build at least six new bathing boxes in an effort by the council to raise funds in excess of A$1 million in light of the global financial crisis.

The Beautiful Duke Street

We were finding the apartment we were going to stay at but we lost our way. In the end, we came across this beautiful place near Duke Street.

My First Time to Melbourne

I was very excited since it was my first time going to Australia.

Australia has some of the world's most distinctive and diverse natural environments, with unique wildlife, and spectacular landscapes, including many national parks and World Heritage Areas.
In these areas you can get up close to our native plants and animals, explore wide open spaces and discover ancient rainforests on the fringe of modern cities. You can also climb snow-capped mountains and swim in some of the most pristine water environments on earth.

Was walking near the canal and i overheard a very touching conversation between a mom, a brother, a sister and a dad. Pokemon Go bonded them together.
Mom: Son, how to catch this pokemon ah? It's so difficult. Can you help me catch?
Son: Yes, mom. (while the son catches the pokemon for her) She asked her daughter to come and see how her son catches it.) And when he finally did, the mom thanked her son and hugged her.
Son: Sorry that we didn't spend time together before. But now, we finally did.
Mom: Ya lo, all four of us near the canal catching pokemon together.
All of the giggled. and hugged each other.
Dad: Ok, Let's continue to catch pokemon and then we will have a fabulous dinner later.
Family bonding through playing Pokemon. How sweet.

Two guys were so engrossed with their phone and when I looked over they were playing pokemon.
"OMG there's a CHANSEY at that park which was across the road. One of the guys looked up and then looked back at his handphone and then looked up again. The next moment, he was running towards the traffic light. The green light wasn't up yet.
I knew he wanted to dash across the road to catch pokemon. The next thing I saw, he was actually running towards an old lady who has dropped her walking stick on the side of the road. He used his hand to prevent the lady from picking it up. Heng ah. If not, there will be an accident.
He's someone who PLAYS POKEMON and yet stays alert of his surroundings and even helped an old lady.
There's a time to play and a time not to play. Playing Pokemon Go isn't all that bad afterall. KUDOS.
Meryl Streep from Devil Wears Prada. - That's all.
People are scolding the wrong thing. They always blame POKEMON GO. It is the person who play the game, not the game itself. In life, too much of one thing is what kills you. If people learn to moderate their playing time, no accidents will ever happen because of the game. People only get into accident because they do not know how to control their addiction and do not practice moderation. The same goes to everything in life, if we were to ban pokemon go because of the accidents it has caused, we might as well ban everything in life. For example, phones, if we are constantly texting our friends or on our phone when we are crossing the road, there is a chance that we might get into accidents too. Does that mean we should ban all phones in general? No. Same applies to pokemon go. It is the people that kills people, not the game.
Just a thought: If Schooling didn't compete, there would have been 3 Gold Medalists in that race.
