Fly Away; Brunei

Sorry for the late posting. 21st April 2006.

My parents wanted to sent me to the airport.

I looked very fat! Haha!

I like the background effect.

My friend, Dominic, rushed from camp to send me off. And then my godbrother, Alex came too to have dinner and bid farewell.





We ate sushi and I saw my 2IC and medical officer.




We proceeded to Burger King to wait for my other campmates and there was where I saw Kee Heng, my bunkmate.

Thinking that nobody was looking at him, he dug his nose.

It was getting boring to wait.

Everyone was busy. The time draw closer. I felt sad though to leave my love ones behind but I comforted myself that I will be back pretty soon.

A Lazy Afternoon

It was a lazy afternoon and I was practically so tired to even step out of my house. But then, Eric wanted to roam the whole of Suntec City. What's there that is so fascinating?


Time and again, I tried to take a photo of Eric but he always noticed. He don't like to take photos.

I was secretly taking his photos.

In the end, boredom got to us and we decided to watch X-Men 3!

Mirantz

Mirantz; cute and of course, powerful (He's part of the SGboy team leh!). And states at his blog for his occupation: Executive Assistant @ Ann Siang Media Pte Ltd, Artistic Director @ Film Five Management, General Manager @ GRACE talent management.

Only 21 years old but already achieved so many things in life.


Is his facial expression telling us that he did not like the burger or did he not like taking photos? Hmmm....

He's a sweet guy! (I'm not kidding).

Two weeks ago...

I was bored to death and he eventually set aside his work and went all the way from Bugis to Tiong Bahru to meet up with me for dinner.

The 21st Century Infantry Medics' Gathering

Before we flew off to Brunei, the medics from my infantry unit decided to hold a BBQ party.

We started pretty late as it was raining. Besides, our Senior medic and M.O weren't there yet.

Most of the work of igniting the fire and keeping the flames burning was Alan, Bravo's company medic.

Said, Support's company medic and I watched a movie at Orchard before proceeding to the barbeque.

You see the guy in white polo tee? That's our medical officer!

It was sad to know that most could not make it to the barbeque especially the Alpha's platoon medics, Clayton, Kent and Isyraf.

Only Alpha's company medic came.

And he's not happy when someone stands beside him, making him look short though he's really tall.

All ends well.

They are a bunch of wacky people. I feel so extra because all of them except for me are company medics.

Tension arised. (Not really!)

I simply love this guy, Taufik! He's wacky but intellectual.

His girlfriend? Hmm, this is when people start to assume... Forgive me but I forgot her name.

One of them was nearly fined for bending the traffic rules but all went well in the end.

I had to leave really early as I had important matters to attend to.

Attica

I was invited to Attica by Mirantz. I've never been there though.

A fashion show was held there and Mister Singapore was there too. The most wackiest thing I've ever heard from the presenter was, "Anyone wants to be photographed with Mister Singapore, please proceed to the VIP room."

Is he that great? Why should we take photos with him when he's barely known or publicised? He will be replaced when a new Mister Singapore comes next year.

Is Mister Singapore chosen yearly?

And I saw Chen Hanwei there, wearing a cap, trying to hide his face.

Peek-a-boo! I saw you! Hah!

I walked that place a few rounds and then left because it's too crampy and small and my mood for clubbing and dancing wasn't there.

While I walked down the stairs, I saw a big pretty caucasian lady, nicely dress in a silver gown, dancing on the dancefloor ... Alone.

The music was groovy and she was really getting into it when abruptly the D.J changed the song.

She was somehow feeling lost.

Granted

My annual leaves have been approved and my medical duty has been covered by one of my friends. Really, he's nice.

I was so afraid that my leaves will be rejected as I send the form a tad too late but all went well.

And I thought I wasn't able to find any medics to stand in for me but more than 2 kind-hearted souls offered their help.

I'll be going out this Saturday and I love receiving blue roses though I'd only received it once a year back.

No, I'm not being shameless! haha! A few emailed, a few MSNed and the others messaged me to regards of what I want for my birthday. So this might jolly well be the generated birthday presents I want to receive.
