Resident Evil 3; Raffles Hotel Westin Stamford

P/S: Thanks for pin-pointing my mistakes hor!

When you thought it only happens at Racoon City, you're wrong! The t-virus seems to spread fast and now it has completely turned everyone at the finest Raffles Hotel into zombies.

Ashy, Roy, Dallas and I entered the hotel in search of other survivors. Without the help from Alice, we were all alone fighting those zombies with our bare hands.

We saw a few walking dead at the lobby but apparently they didn't seem to notice us. We crept pass them and entered the elevator with ease.

We wanted to start with the most highest floor, 66th but we needed a card to enter the upper floors. We ended up at the 38th floor instead.

We got into our fighting position as the elevator door opened. The entire floor was deserted. We moved forth. Apparently, all the doors were locked. Nothing unsual on that floor.

We thought of solutions of how to get to the higher floors. Roy suggested we took the elevator on the other side which might just bring us to the most top floor.

Abruptly we heard noises and the elevator wasn't there yet. We took the nearest exit which was they stairways and climbed up a few floors.

Panic engulfed me.

We exited at the 54th floor and checked the entire floor for survivors. Still, there were none. Yet again we heard noises. But it was coming from the elevator.

Seconds later, the elevator door opened and we entered. Suprisingly, the 58th button was lighted up.

The door closed and up we go.

Oh did I mention that Dallas was a wiccan. He had magickal herbs and book of shadows with him. At least he was able to conjure a protection spell for us when the zombies come attacking us.

We walked the entire floor when suddenly I heard strange voices ahead of us. I, being the brave one, decided to take the risk and check things out.

Hola!

Dozens of zombies spotted me and started to advanced towards us. I signalled them to exit using the stairs.

We ran for our lives. I realized it was not a good idea searching for survivors when we could eventually save our own butts and migrate to Africa.

We stopped at the 54th floor and took the elevator down. Seconds later , we ran out of the hotel and hailed a cab to the airport. We booked airplane tickets to Africa and bid Singapore goodbye.

Starvation

I just had my supper so probably I would not be turning in anytime soon. I'd decided not to eat for the next 72 hours. Do not ask me why as for I do not have the answer to that question. Perhaps I am out of my mine.

But then again, those tsunami victims starved for many days before food supplies flowed in. I want to feel what they were felt back then; hunger. I want to see if I will be as strong-willed as them.

Pretty Girl: I am drinking this delicious soup and I can bet with ya that you are yearning for one. See me putting this spoon into my mouth! See how delicious this soup is! Yum!

Me: It looked rather plain to me. No effect!

Evil Twin: Oh really?

...

.....

TAKE THIS FOR AN APPETITE!

Evil Twin: Look at that mouth-watering pizza she's eating!

Girl: Thanks for the 5 dollars Evil Twin but I really can't finish this pizza. I feel like puking.

Me: Boo!

Bull's Eyes

Do you still remember there was a contest on vote for your favorite SBS bus? I did just that by voting 1002 times. Alot it may seems and crazy I am to you but I believe there are others who will vote more than me.

While I was having my lessons in the morning, my cellular rang and I was greeted by a chirpy lady who told me that I'd won the SBS votiing competition. I was one out of the 100 winners.

Elated I was that I had forgotten to ask what prize I won. It does not matter as I am too happy to think of what prizes are in store for me.

But I believe with that many votes, I should be ranked the top five or so. Good luck to me!

Correction; I had won 1000 dollars and not 10000 dollars for another particular competition that I took part earlier this month.

Our 2nd Month Anninversary

I'd decided to take out yesterday's entry and save it as draft instead. It's better not to make my relationship with my other half deteriorate. But somehow my heart is somewhat pierced.

One minute please...

Evil Twin: La La La!

Yesterday, I left my house two minutes to nine and decided to board the train from Outram Park to my destination. Practically, I was in a rush. Everything I do was in a super fast pace.

But soon after tragedy befalls on me. While I was shaving my to-be-seen moustache, I grazed my upper lips. Pain egulfed me but there were no signs of blood. I walked away from the bathroom and proceeded to get clothed.

Then, I saw blood dripping to the floor. I rushed to the door size mirror and saw that my upper lip was bleeding profusely. The sight of blood just makes me sick.

I wiped it off and immediately left my house with the tissue still pressing against my lip. Minutes later, I threw the tissue away assured that my lip had stopped bleeding.

I boarded the train and sat near the door. Opposite were two young ladies. Apparently, they giggled every time they look at me. My first reaction was to stand up and slap those two ladies with my discman. But then again, they were not worthy enough for my discman.

The train arrived at my designated station and immediately rushed to meet my other half below the void deck. Before we met, I bought big breakfast meal from McDonalds for my other half's breakfast.

We met and sat at the empty seats. I suprised my other half with a soft toy which I recently bought. A bear and his name is Beanie. Beanie loves making joke - that's what he's good at; his forte.

Why did the man survive the fall from his 25th storey unit?

I pondered.

Evil Twin: I know! It's because he's not human!

Wrong...

Evil Twin: He can fly! He has a parachute on when he fell! He has nine lives!

Wrong, wrong and wrong!

Evil Twin: If all my answers wrong, then what's the right one then?

The answer is that he was lucky.

Evil Twin ran towards Beanie with a parang and...

Isaac: Let's get back to the show.

My other half wasn't suprised at all as my other half already predicted what I wanted to give.

Evil Twin: Wah! Your other half is a Psychic.

Shut up and let Isaac continue with his story. You are such a nuisance and pain in the ass, Evil Twin! shouted Beanie.

Everyone stared at Beanie. What a cute bear to say such brute words. Beanie ran hid behind my other half, ashamed. I'm still a cute bear, lamented Beanie.

After breakfast, we headed to Punggol End in search of Saga Seeds for my upcoming competition. We did not really manage to find any Saga Seeds till we went further down the forest. They were aplenty.

But we had to stop halfway as the sun was really blazing hot and making us perspire.

We went to Far East Plaza to get our neoprints taken to commemorate our 2nd month annniversary and later ate at a restaurant at the forth floor.

After lunch, we proceeded to Orchard MRT station. While we were walking, we saw flag-raisers. There were four girls asking for donations for a certain charity.

I decided to donate my coins to the most hardworking ones. My pick was the girl wearing spectacles which looks a little geeky to me. Nevertheless, she was persuasive and hardworking.

I dropped my coins into the can but was shockingly suprise when the girl gave a certain look to her friends. It was the hey-girls-I-got-more-donations-than-you or the hey-girls-they-decide-to-donate-to-me-as-I-am-pretty look. I tried not to giggle.

And then something happened. I saw a car approaching a blind man who was standing in the middle of the pedestrian crossing. Everyone look at him. Everything seemed slow motion.

Was the old man going to die?

I hurriedly left the place with my other half to avoid what was about to happen next. We went to several places in Singapore which captivated us.

At around ten, I sent my other half home.

The Rowdy Passengers

This will be my third time writing this entry after being accidentally deleted the first and second time. Argh!

I waited at the bus stop patiently for my bus to arrive. I glanced at the other passengers that will be boarding the same bus as me. I took out my wallet from my pocket as the bus approached nearer.

I sat down and pressed the play button on my discman. I am able to listen to Ayumi Hamasaki 2nd latest album, Carol, in the bus peacefully and without any interruption.

I closed my eyes and hummed softly the lyrics to myself.

HONK!

Abruptly, I opened my eyes and realized that the bus was thrusting full speed even though it was red light. I shook my head in displeased. What a reckless bus driver he was. I wasn't impressed at all.

Apparently, a van which was making a left turn earlier on nearly collided with the bus that I was on. What a near death experience I must say. I heaved a hugh sigh of relieve.

I continued listening to my song when I heard the bus driver yelling and shouting vulgarities. His loud husky voice pierced Ayumi's voice. My eyes were wide open.

I decided to turn the volume to the maximum but somehow it did not work. Strange enough, I heard another voice coming from behind me.

A Indian lady who was listening to her walkman was singing loudly. With those two voices combined, they were somewhat near to me. I rolled my eyes.

Help me please!

The bus stopped to ferry more passengers. A little girl sat next to me.

The little girl looked up at me. Most people woudln't have called her pretty. They wouldn't seen past the things that made her look different.

But she looked lovely to me. The eyes behind her glasses were big, and fringed with long black lashes. Her hair, black and straight, was tied in two bunches on each side of her head, and it looked as soft as feathers.

She smiled when she saw me looking at her, and leaning forward in her pushchair, she flapped her hand in my direction and blew a big bubble out of her mouth.

If I was not wrong, her age would be around five years old. She was the sweetest girl I'd seen. Suddenly, she started crying.

Her loud and sharp cries pierced through the air, hurting my eardrums. I could stand no more. I turned to her with my hand swinging to her face in slow motion.

PIAK!

I slapped her brutally. She stopped crying and glared at me. She growled and climbed over me. She punched me several times in my face. Perfection was all over for me.

I grabbed her by the collarbone and thrust her into the air before slamming her to the glass window.

She was bleeding profusely. She dismissed her pain with hysterical laughters. I was taken aback. I was traumatized with her behavior.

I stood up and shouted, shut up everyone! Shut up!

And then I snapped from my reverie. I pressed the buzzer and alighted to wait for the next bus.

Fiona Xie's Blog

I was browsing the internet when I chanced upon a Singapore celebrity's Blog. I had doubts at the start of celebrities having Blogs in the internet world.

Why would they waste their time writing Blogs when they can do something meaningful? Why would they have the time to blog amidst their hectic schedule?

I read the contents and writings and it seemed somewhat like hers. Yes, without a doubt the Blog belongs to Fiona Xie when I read Mr. Miyagi's and Xiaxue's latest entries.

Fans of Fiona's, you will be tinged with disappointment when you realize that her tagboard has been attacked by other blog readers. Harsh mean words are what you will read.

And I didn't realize Fiona could be so poetic. Read her writings and you will understand what I mean.

Click here to visit Fiona Xie's Blog.

I wonder which other celebrities owned Blogs too.

I'd come across a few interesting Blogs yesterday while I was surfing the internet. Those belong to past competitors, Selena and Benjamin in MyDreamD8 that was organized by Singtel.

And daily dosage of great entries from Razlan, Girl in Bionic Suit, Jaishree and June.

Ever since my Blog was nominated in Singapore Hottest Blog and listed in a certain magazine, I receive a whopping average 3000 readers a day.

Neglecting? I Hate You? - No!

Nowadays I'd been so pre-occupied with school administration documents, writing competitions and school projects that I'd neglected some of my friends. I would sincerely apologize for that.

I do not talk to you at school does not mean that I hate you or I do not care for you as a friend of mine. I do smile when I walk past you. But recently, some of you already gave me the cold shoulder. I know I should have done more than a smile.

"Too late, Next!" shouted my Evil Twin.

I was on my way home today from school when abruptly I was greeted by a stranger at the City Hall MRT Station. I was taken aback when she called me icyboy85.

Without having further thoughts, I knew she was my blog reader. I said Hi with a hearty joyful smile. We talked for quite a while before I decided to make myself scarce.

She had met me twice somewhere at Orchard with her two friends who were also my blog readers but never dare to approach me.

*Smile* If you see me on the street, just approach me ya!

Evil Twin...

I switched on my laptop and prepare myself to write another entry on my blog. Today was yet another hectic day for me but...

What the heck? What's all this? Pure boredom! It's time for a change. It's time for me, Isaac's Evil Twin to take over for now. Previous entries make me tear to death! Yuck!

Have you heard about the latest news to regards of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston's split. The media claimed they were the golden the couple. Does not seem like it to me. Mr. Jones and Mrs. Jones won't be too happy about that.

The cause for their break-up was puffy lips, Angelina Jolie. She, atrociously normal looking had recently made her lips far bigger than her ass. I wonder why she would want to ugly-fy herself further.

Tsk! Tsk!

Four years of being together is a short period of time. Shame on them for breaking up! Whatever it is, they are none of my concern.

A few days ago, I'd been having repetive nightmares of myself parading naked at Chinatown and jumping to the polluted and dirty Singapore River. That was not the worst yet. Fishes of various kinds decided to feed on my d*ck which seem to be 'worm' to them.

As if.

By now, all of you should now how vain we could get. "We" refers to Isaac and me of course. Being the better twin always makes Isaac inferior to me.

*Covers mouth and laugh so evilly*

Shut up! I can see you laughing. I know that I'm a shameless guy. No doubt about it.

Keyboard Malfunction

I am getting really irritated with my keyboard. Sometimes certain alphabets have to be pressed twice to get it appear on screen. And it's more irritating when I realize my laptop sound is spoilt.

Thus the lack of updates.

Two days ago, I read on the paper to regards of Evelyn Tan's birth to a baby girl. Shockingly upset at the way she describe her newborn baby, "Why is my baby so ugly, her nose is so flat!"

How disgusted I was at her. Hey baby looks fine to me. There's absolutely nothing ugly about her. They were aiming for perfection. That is why everything they see is ugly.

"Is that my baby?" she asked.

Evil Twin: She's such a bitch. It's a good thing she was not recruited back by Mediacorp.

Whines and More Whines

I thought I could enjoy a peaceful bus ride home but I was so wrong. It started with the cry of a little girl. Even though I was listening to my discman at full blast, I could still hear her cries.

It went on and on for more than ten minutes. At that moment, I wished I could strangle the little girl to death as she was really annoying not only me but the other passengers on the bus too.

The teenage boy who was seated next to me began fidgeting. I turned to look at him and saw that he had potrayed a very irritating expression on his face. Seconds later, I saw him turned around and spoke to the mother of the annoying little girl.

Apparently from her expression, she was not too happy at what the teenage boy had said to her. And yet again, the little girl started crying again.

Oh God, please save me!

Minutes later, I realized that the bus ez-link tapping machine at the rear and the front of the bus exit and entrance were not working.

Each time the bus stopped to ferry passengers, the bus driver would informed those boarding that the bus ez-link tapping machines are out of service and they have to pay using coins instead. Those without coins were not able to board the bus and had to wait for another bus instead.

I pitied them as it was already six in the evening. They had just knocked off from work or finished school and wanted to get home to their families as soon as possible for dinner but it did not happened.

As the bus began to move, I looked at the passengers at the bus-stop who were dismissed by the bus driver. Some were old men and women. Some were school children and working adult. How I really pity them.

The bus driver will do the same thing to every bus-stop.

Abruptly, one of the passengers on board the bus shouted to the bus driver. I was startled. I paused my discman and listened to the conversation.

It went something like...

The Passenger: Oi! Ka ni na! Let the passengers board the bus lah! It's already getting late and I believed they want to be with their families at home. If they don't have coins then just let them board the bus for free.

The Driver: *Silent*

The Passenger: Don't be a heartless jerk and let them board the bus. What kind of bus driver you are! It's only a few stops away to the ending terminal of the bus. Don't be so petty and stingy!

The bus driver ignored him. He continued with what he was doing earlier on.

"No coins, don't board the bus. Wait for the next bus instead."

The passenger advanced to the bus driver and shouted at him the same exact sentences he said previously. Unhappy, he urged the incoming passengers to just board the bus without paying.

It was so chaotic. Then I saw a primary school girl wanting to get on board of the bus but since she did not have any coins and the only means of paying is through ez-link, she was forced to alight from the bus.

The passenger kept on shouting and said that the bus driver was not being compassionate enough.

Seconds later, he gestured to the primary school girl who was standing at the bus stop patiently to come on board of the bus.

The primary school girl was clueless of what was going on. But another lady who was seated next to the entrance gestured her to move in.

I felt that everyone was helping one another and the bus driver felt powerless. There was nothing he could do.

I smiled.

Why must entries have topics? What's the point of having topics for entries when it's not really that neccessary?

We are blogging about our daily life and probably other things but why must we really need to put topics? Why must we crack our brains just to think for a suitable topic for the particular entry that we are writing?

That I shall ponder. Or maybe I already know the answer. We have nothing better to do in life than to waste 5 precious minutes of thinking a topic for an blog entry.

Sigh.

1st Day of School

Evil Twin: That's a topic! Thus, you have no life at all.

Me: ...

On the first day of school, I was pre-occupied with helping my class advisor cum lecturer to some regards of school administration and our class paperwork. Hectic it was but I managed to complete them with ease.

Nothing's too big or too tough for me to handle. I have promised myself that I should do things within my pace and not to be pressurized easily.

Of course, new term, new books. I was suprised to know that the total costs for the books accumulated to nearly fourty dollars.

For the next few days, I had to write a class chalet proposal. Careful planning needed to be done. The first time I organized the chalet for my class, we were lacking of food and entertainment.

After that incident, I promised and assured myself that it would not happen again. Months later, I organized another chalet which was more successful than the previous. This time round, there were enough food but still we were lacking of entertainment.

It's always never perfect. There's one saying, 'when you try to hard to be perfect, you always make blunder mistakes without knowing but when you try to tense it down, everything will go smoothly.'

So this time round, I shall stay within my limits and not to have too high expectations.

The Evil Man, The Cook And I

I was extremely pissed with a middle-age man who snatched my seat at the hawker center earlier yesterday. It was clear enough to everyone that I stood next to the table, indicating that place was mine.

He walked pass me and abruptly sat on my seat. Furious I was that very moment. Of all the available seats there, he decided to sit on mine. I gave him a cold hard stare which he dismissed later on with a smirk on his face.

I was tempted to scold that middle-age man but I did not want to make a big fuss out of it. I can simply find another seat since there were aplenty. But I perfectly did not understand why the man took my seat instead of all those empty ones around him

I could not take it lying down. I proceed to the table next to his and informed my other half about the situation that was ongoing. I did not look away from him.

He stood up and went to the stall nearest to his table and ordered food. Ah! Now I understand. He's lazy to travel a long distance from the food stall that he was ordering from. That was his motive for that the seat away from me.

Unhappy I was that I decided to hatch an evil plan!

Coincidentally, my other half and I were also ordering food from the same food stall as his. While my other half went to buy drinks from the stall behind the food stall, it was the perfect time to hatch my plan.

While ordering my food from the cook, I whispered a few words to him. Curious onlookers stared at me but I dsmissed them with a huge fart. Poot!

The unbearable smell has entered their puny nostrils and they died from the poisonous gas. I laughed so loud and was couping my stomach which indicated that it was about to burst anytime soon.

The cook who was clueless decided to return to his small kitchen. Seconds later, his eyes turned watery and soon, the entire stall was flooded with water.

I told him to shut up and follow my instructions. I sat back to my seat seconds before my other half came back with the drinks.

I smiled.

Minutes later, the cook delivered our food. I looked at the man who stole my seat earlier on. I could see an angry expression portrayed on his face.

I laughed hysterically! My ingenuous plan worked. If you are wanting to know what my plan was, go figure it out yourself!

Three Days without Blogging!

Both of my hands were unbearably painful for me to even lift up a book. My muscles were strained after those strenuous exercises. Because of that, I was unable to blog!

Two days back, I dreamt of something really weird yet again. I was running on an isolated road. But however no matter how fast I ran, I would still be in the same exact spot. Why, I thought.

Then I heard honking noises from behind me. I looked back and was abruptly knock down by a huge truck. Everything went black.

Seconds later, I appeared in another place. I was in camp at Tekong doing vigorous trainings. Apparently, I kept on making blunder mistakes time and again.

The higher rank officer advanced to me and slapped me silly. I cried in pain. Then he ordered me to do two hundred push-ups. Scary it was to me. But then again maybe I was worrying too much about this issue till I dreamt about it.

I only have six more months to study and then I would be called up for NS. But then again, something might happen and that would delay me from serving NS that soon.

Six months more and I will be seperated from my classmates.

Friendships are something that wouldn't last for long for that is what I believe now.

Each time, I have a good friend, let it be a guy or a girl, or when I'm about to get along well with a particular person, he or she will either emigrate to another country, pursue their studies elsewhere in the foreign countries, or we might end up falling out with each other.

I'm over and done with it. I'd many good friends since I was young but somehow, one by one of them started to vanish into thin air.

After years of special bonding, it will just fall apart one day, and that is what I thought now. It seems so unreal. It will crush you; your spirit, your pride. You will feel so venerable.

When I was younger, during my primary school days, I used to have a very close friend, Kian Seng, but he was not a local so anytime he could leave for his country. Eventually it did happen after we finish our primary school.

He wanted to study high school in Malaysia. I was sad for I lost such a special friend. I would tag with him wherever he went and so did he. We did almost everything together.

But we still contact each other until one fine day; I changed my home number and lost his contact number. And yes, back then, I'm not as fortunate as those kids nowadays, already carrying a handphone with them; expensive handphones to be exact. I searched high and low hoping that I had previously scribbled his number somewhere on the pages of the books or papers but to no avail. Our friendship then ended abruptly.

Time passed hastily but I will not forget Kian Seng as for he is one special friend. Soon after, I was studying in high school, making new friends; widening my social circle. I clicked immediately with these four people; Adam, Lionel, Jaka and Janet but all five of us have different personalities and sometimes our characters clashed.

As we proceeded to the second year of high school, we grew even closer; going out together and doing study group. But the friendship between Janet and Adam did not last unfortunately. Janet has always been suspicious of Adam's sexual orientation. She then confronted Adam but he denied. He, of course, felt terribly insulted.

And then it happened. "For that, I shall severe all ties with you, Janet." exclaimed Adam. That's the end of their friendship. But I was torn between the two of them. Janet was my god sister while Adam was my best friend. I had a difficult time to accommodate to both of them.

I felt terrible. Then we split into different classes for the upcoming year. I and Janet went to the A class while Adam, Jaka and Lionel went to B. I had communicated less often with Adam, Lionel and Jaka as we have different time tables.

Soon I began drifting apart and spending less quality time with them. It's all bcause of the stupid time table.

As days passed by, I began to learn that Janet was being abominated by the girls in our class for her arrogant attitude but I beg to differ. She was actually quiet and did not like to socialize much but the rest thought differently.

She was being alienated by the rest of the class, excluding for those few who were her good friends. I knew she was in fear; already frightened that she was rejected by her classmates.

I pitied her but was always by her side, supporting and giving her encouragement always. I did not want her to feel lonely. Every time, after school, I would always accompany her to have our lunch or even followed her to buy her school stuffs from bookstores and etc.

But then, Adam wasn't too happy about it. He would always invite me to his house to game with him with his playstation and X-Box. So I had to choose. And one fine day, I decided to go along with Adam.

Of course, Janet felt left out and asked if I was avoiding her. I explained but she refused to believe me. And she kept insisting and pestering me to go out with her everyday till one day; I felt irritated and decided to shut her out too just like the rest. I could stand her no longer.

I began to mingle with Adam, Lionel and Jaka more often but however Jaka and Adam would bicker too often over trivial matters and I would have to be their mediator, helping to resolve their problems now and then.

And then we advanced to the last year of our high school. The pressure was building up; we had to prepare for our final examinations and of course, we can't afford to fool around.

But mid-year, something atrocious happened. People started assuming that Adam was a gay and the rumours were spreading like wildfire. Of course, Adam couldn't take it lying down. He wanted to find the source and seek revenge.

With my help and lionel's, we managed to track down the troublemaker who was spreading the rumours around and it was actually one of our classmate, K.P. Adam wasn't too happy about it as he despise K.P a lot. He wanted to torture K.P mentally.

And so the plan was made and revised to bring K.P's reputation down and I and Lionel had to help him get through his plan. Initially, I tried to talk Adam out of it but he refused and I was left with no options.

THE uncouth PEOPLE in my class were mainly made up of the bigger and stronger boys; every ten minutes, you would be hearing them cursing and swearing and hurling vulgarities like there's no tomorrow. Tsk Tsk.

But that's not the point. They would always pick the weaklings in my class. There was no peace at all. For a fact that I knew our class has never been united as one. But I never hated them but was just displeased of why I had such classmates.

After we graduated from high school, most of us went separate ways; to polytechnic, junior colleges, ITE and a few already advancing into the working society. We seldom contact one another and only meet up when there's an important occasion like Teachers' Day or maybe the school's anniversary.

And then came the 7 months holiday for me to recuperate and move into a new phase of life. I worked part-time in a factory at TUAS,11 MRT stops away from my house. Waking up early in the morning every weekday is really very troublesome.

How I wish I was working somewhere near my house so that I won't bother to wake up so early in the morning. But of course, it was worth it as my colleagues were friendly and helpful but the QC (Quality Checker) there SUCK TO THE CORE! I felt like sawing his DICK off and stuff it inside his ass!

Anyway, I became closer to my colleagues and started to talk on the phone at night and going out shopping with them.

But then, there came the retrenchment scheme and I was one of the unfortunate people that had to leave in 5 days time. It really sucks when I already built a great bond with the people there and then I had to leave.

We promised that we would keep in contact with one another but weeks later, the same thing happened, we abruptly lost contact and that was the end of our friendship! Damn!

Training

For the past few days, it has been raining heavily especially in the morning. I pity my little sister who has to go to school while I am sleeping in my comfy bed, wrapped with a blanket to keep myself warm.

Do not envy me as for my school vacations will end pretty soon and I would not get to enjoy life anymore. I sigh with disappointment. They should extend the school vacations to a month or two more.

Yesterday, being the lazy me, I woke up in the afternoon. I was glad that I could see rays of lights coming to my bedroom window, suggesting that it was sunny. But soon after, the skies grew darker, threatening to rain.

I was called for in the kitchen by my grandma to carry all the laundries that were still hanging outside the kitchen window. Before I could even take in all the laundries, it began to rain.

I had to rush.

Afterward I decided to borrow my father exercising equipement, which was a 20KG dumbell. I realize it was time for me to train myself up.

I was pondering if weighing myself on the weighing machine every 15 minutes would help, but it didn't. I began to find it very foolish.

Let's take for example that there are two guys who has the same height and weigh the same 60kg but their body shapes are different. One has a protruding tummy while the other has a washbod.

So why weigh? Having a 55kg weight does not neccesarily means that I am slim. Having a 65kg weight does not neccesarily means one is fat or muscular. Then I concluded that I am talking gibberish.

As I was saying, I borrowed my father's dumbell which has a 20kg weight on it. I tested and was sure that 20kg is too much for me. I removed 10kg off from the dumbell.

Minutes later, I began carrying the dumbell, 20 times for each of my hands. It was still too heavy but I continued. In the end, I manage to complete.

Then I did push-ups and sit ups. Afterward, I did a 20 minutes run on my treadmill. Boy was I feeling tired.

After the entire training session, I decided to take a nap only to realize that I had overstretched my arm's muscle when I woke up.

Pain. Pain. Pain. But it does not matter.

Today I shall repeat my same training session again.

Wired Up At MMI

One of my Blog readers, Muhammad Fikri a.k.a Leo told me to place a pen and a piece of paper next to my pillow before I go to bed. For what purpose you may ask?

If I were to dream anything unusual or what I think may happen to me in real life, I would jot the events on the piece of paper before I go to sleep again and forget everything when I wake up in the morning.

Silly it may seems but why not give it a try. Later before I sleep, I shall do as what he told. Am I feeling stupid about this whole idea? My answer would be a firm NO. Excited would describe what I am feeling now.

On the previous day, I had to wake up as early as 7 in the morning to get ready for my appointment at MMI building for my NS medical appointment. If you're wondering, it's still not time yet for me to serve National Service.

Lack of sleep, I felt grouchy. I was dragging my feet the entire time. Upon reaching the place, we were amazed by the advanced elevators they have. There were simply advanced technology elevators.

Wondering how advanced they could be, you may check out yourself but be prepared to be stopped by the security guards if you are there only to survey the elevators.

They will ask for your identification card and then bring you to a dark confine room. Afterward, they will ask you several questions and if your answers are not up to their expectations, they will handcuff you.

But before they do, you will be slapped silly.

Don't worry, it was just a joke.

I reached the designated floor but then was told to proceed a level below after filing in my particulars and re-affirming the time of my appointment.

Yet again, I was amazed with the elevators.

My parents and I were about to open the door and enter the room when abruptly, someone from behind interrupted us.

It was one of the officers there. He guided us the way and told my parents to sit down while I proceed with him to the counter. I passed him my appointment slips and was told to strip to my t-shirt and shorts.

I did as he told and waited for his next instruction. I sat next to my parents and waited patiently.

Before I continue my entry, I would want to inform my Blog readers that my keyboard is not working properly. It's hard for me to press the letters P and R. So if there are any mistakes, please inform me by e-mailing me at icyboy85@gmail.com.

The officer told me to advance to one of the rooms. My parents decided to follow us and watched me do my appointment.

Upon entering the room, I saw treadmills and cardiograms. Ah! I'm supposed to run, I thought.

My parents sat at the comfy chair while I was told to move to one of the seats next to the treadmill. Then the same officer told me to take my shirt off and lie down on one of the movable beds.

The next thing I know was that they started to paste stickers on my chest and stomach. I started to feel nervous. Are they going to MUMMIFY me with the stickers and import me to Egypt, Cairo?

I pondered. My heart began thumping as if it's going to pop out. Miraculously, it did not. I heaved a huge sigh of relieve.

They started inserting wires to the pasted stickers. Wires, wires and more wires! I concluded that I will be running on the treadmill while they observe my heartbeats.

They strapped up something soft and cool around my hand. Ah! Nice... And then I realize that they were actually taking my blood pressure.

Afterward, they told me to step on the treadmill. Seconds later, I began walking slowly on the treadmill. I was still feeling pretty okay except for feeling nervous.

Amidst the walk, the officer started to strike a conversation with me.

"Where are you studying now?" asked the officer.

Of course, I replied him and even told him where it was located as I know he was going to ask me that later on.

The treadmill speed abruptly increased and I began to walk even faster. Damn! I had just strain my left foot muscle a couple of days ago and now I have to do this kind of things. I prayed that it would not strain further.

And then he asked what does the HSS stands for on the shorts that I was wearing. Already heaving and gasping for air, I replied seconds later.

The speed of the treadmill began to increase again. This time, I was running and hoping that he could stop asking me questions already.

But what a polite and friendly officer he is I must say. After the whole process, I rested myself on the bed and tore the stickers from my body.

At the end of the appointment, I was fatigue. I could no longer walk properly. I want to go home and sleep on my comfy bed.

Minutes later, we left the room and I bid goodbye to the friendly officer. If only I know his name.

The Weirdest Dream; Tay Ping Hui

I stood all alone in the dark confine room; helpless and confused. I looked around for an escape route but there were no windows and the only door out was locked.

I tried to slam the door down but to no avail. Suddenly, I heard footsteps. I backed away and listened. The footsteps were getting louder by each passing seconds.

And then I saw the doorknob turned. I searched frantically for any objects to protect myself from whoever was at the door. But it was too late.

The door creaked opened. I was in my fighting position. Abruptly, a huge gust of wind swept me off the ground and I landed on a bed. Then I realized I was in my own room with my grandma sleeping away at the mattress.

My room door opened and there stood my dad. His face and hands were covered with blood.

I jumped out from my bed and asked in a concern tone what had happened. He did not respond. I scanned him from head to toe. He was bleeding profusely.

And then I saw that he was holding two razor blades respectively on both hands. Within split seconds, he dashed towards me and slashed my arms with those sharp razor blades. I cried in pain.

My grandma woke up and realized what was happening. She got up and stood in front of me. She was my defense.

But somehow my dad was still able to reach me. He slashed me time and again. I shouted in pain and begged him to stop but he refused. My arms, my wrist and my chest were slashed multiple times.

I wanted to break away but instantly he grabbed me by the arms and flung me to the wall. He made his attempt to slash me again but I dashed to the open windows.

As I was living on the third floor, jumping down from that height would not kill anyone. I leapt onto the window grill and landed myself on the rooftop of a Ferrari.

"What the...!" yelled someone from inside the car.

The door swung opened and a young fine looking man emerged. The fall had made my visions blurred but seconds later, everything was crystal clear again. The man was actually mediacorp actor, Tay Ping Hui.

He asked me out of curiosity why I jumped out from the window but I refused to answer and rolled myself to the ground.

I started running but he gestured me to stop.

I continued running. Abruptly, someone grabbed me by the arms again but this time it was Tay Ping Hui. We stared at each other for a couple of seconds when I realized I wanted to break free from him and continue running.

But he refused to let me go.

He pulled my shoulder closer towards him. I missed a step and fell into his arms. There was silence.

I looked bewildered and pondered to myself what was actually going on. I gently pushed myself away from him.

He looked at my arms and asked why there were many cuts on my arms but still I refused to answer him.

Immediately he rushed to his Ferrari and took out his first aid box. He gestured me to sit on the side pavement while he tended to my wounds. I gazed at him.

And then I heard screams. Familiar screams. I turned around and saw my father running towards me.

I panicked.

Tay Ping Hui grabbed my hands and we advanced to his Ferrari. We slammed the door shut and soon after, the engine started.

We drove away from that place, leaving my father stranded on the pavement. I speculated that he was already a zombie.

I felt tired and hurt. Minutes later, I fell asleep on Tay Ping Hui's shoulder.

Moments later, I was awaken by screams. I looked around and noticed that Orchard Road was infested by zombies.

Tay Ping Hui told me to calm down as he knew what he was doing. He stepped onto the acceleration paddle and the car sped up to 120 km/hr.

I held onto my seatbelt tightly hopping that the car would not lose control and crash.

We managed to get out from the infested area safely. We stopped at a nearby coffee shop. We wanted to grab a bite as we were famished.

But we realized the coffee shop were also infested with zombies and humans who were about to turn into zombies too.

We ran back to our car and left the place. I cried to myself and was soon comforted by Tay Ping Hui.

"Everything will be alright," he said.

I looked at him and shouted, "How can you possibly say everything would be fine when you, yourself witnessed zombies running around and people turning into one of them!"

He kept quiet. I felt guilty and apologized to him for being rude. Everything was fine.

It was already night time and we have yet to eat or stop to take a breather. Abruptly, one of the tires punctured and the car started to spin wildly. I shouted.

Bang!

The car crashed onto a tree. Everything went dark.

Meeting Up With My Other Half's Parents

Yesterday, I started my day by cleaning up my balcony when I realized how messy it was with double the books being stacked on the computer table and the dusty shelves that were not clean for weeks.

It was two long hours of slavery after which I stopped to take a short break and then fell asleep on the living room sofa. Time ticked hastily without me realizing that it was already evening.

I woke up and was greeted with the ring on my cellular. My other half informed me that my other half's parents are inviting me over for dinner and bowling at Yishun which was the other side of the island.

I hesitated to give a firm decision. I was worried that I was not presentable enough and that my other half's parents would not like me. Apart from that, I was afraid that my other half's parents would ask me a lot of questions and my answers would not be good enough.

"You're worrying too much," said my other half.

I asked for another ten minutes to make up my decision. I was thinking of all the possibilities. If I were to meet up with my other half's parents, then I will know them better and vice versa.

Ten minutes were up, and my decision was finalized. My other half was waiting for my answer eagerly.

Without hesitation, I replied a YES and I could hear joy in my other half's voice. We hung up the phone and got ourselves ready.

I was supposedly to meet them at North Point Shopping Center at Yishun at 8.30p.m but judging from the rate I was going, I predicted that I was going to be late.

I panicked.

My other half informed me that they will be eating at a cafe before proceeding to the bowling alley which was located at Yishun Safra.

Upon hearing that, I told my other half not to wait for me or let my other half's parents to wait for me as I would be terribly late.

I did not want to leave a bad impression on them but they insisted on waiting for me at the cafe.

I rushed but upon reaching the shopping center, I lost my way. I was not able to find the restaurant. Minutes passed so I decided to call my other half for help. Unfortunately, I could not be able to reach my other half's cellular.

Being the smart me, I checked the directory and went to the information counter to direct me to the restaurant.

Finally, I reached.

I was greeted by them and I was glad that they were not mad at me for being late. I settled down and take a look at the restaurant's menu. My eyes were wide opened when I saw how expensive the food there was.

I settled for a fish and chip which cost me 6.90 and an Ice Lemon Tea, totaling up to 9 bucks.

But soon after, my other half's dad cancelled my order and replace it with Sambal Fish and Chip which cost nearly 13 bucks. I gulped in terror.

But I was soon relieved to hear from my other half that my other half's parents would be paying for the entire meal. However, I felt extremely guilty.

At 10, we left the restaurant and took a cab to Yishun Safra. My other half's dad, my other half and I took the same cab while my other half's mum, god brother and my other half's god brother's girlfriend took another cab.

We arrived a few minutes later and advanced to the bowling alley. Only four of us decided to play bowling while the ladies excused themselves and went to KTV to sing their hearts out.

My other half and I played 3 games of bowling, only to realize that we already tire ourselves out at the fourth game. So we decided to stop playing and watched my other half's dad and god brother pitting against one another.

Overall, my performance was not too shabby. I had a total score of 130 for each game and was placed second for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd game and placed first at the fourth game despite being tired.

My other half was placed last for the 1st and 2nd game but made a comeback at the 3rd game for being 2nd.

Soon after, we left the area at 12.45a.m and waited for our individual cabs. I was pleasantly shocked to know that my other half's parents had booked a cab and decided to sent me home first before proceeding to their own home.

In the cab, I was still quite shy of talking to my other half's parents but I was glad that they did not mind at all.

As I stepped out of the cab, I thanked them for the wonderful time they'd given to me.

What a good way to start off the New Year.

Reborn; The New Beginning

Happy New Year to everyone out there!

On this New Year, I have promise myself to be a better person. I will be firmer with my decisions and shall make the right choices in life.

Yesterday, on New Year's Eves, I started the day off by waiting for my other half two long hours at my other half's void deck. I was not the least mad as I perfectly understood that my other half did not have ample of sleep the previous night.

I arrived at Seng Kang at 10 in the morning and amidst of waiting, I decided to have my breakfast at the plaza near to my other half's home.

Unfortunately, it was raining heavily and I had to walk the longest route to the plaza.

Time ticked by hastily. Seconds merged to minutes and minutes merged to become hours. Being the patient me, I continued waiting.

But finally at 12, my other half called me to inform that my other half had overslept and my other half's dad had forgotten to give a wake up call.

I forgave my other half and later on we met up. There was silence. Nobody talked. Seconds later, my other half apologise again. I told my other half that I was not mad but a little disappointed.

Nevertheless, after discussions, everything went well. As it was still raining heavily, my other half decided to go to my other half's house to wait till it stopped raining.

I second my other half's idea.

At my other half's house, we talked and I promised that no matter what, I will still love my other half wholeheartedly. I ensure my other half that I will not leave my other half.

At 1, the rain stopped.

We left my other half's house and proceeded to Hougang Central to board bus number 132 to our destination, Far Eat Plaza at Orchard.

On our journey in the bus, we tuned in to the radio station 98.7fm to listen to the top 100 music countdown. Fantasia, my favourite artiste was at the 87th placing with her single 'I Believe'.

My other half and I were hoping that Jewel Kilcher's Stand would make it to the top 100. Amidst the journey, someone sent a virus, Caribe.sis to my other half's handphone via bluetooth.

The only way to get rid of the virus was to switch off the handphone or disable the bluetooth device. It worked.

Upon reaching our designated location, we decided to take a neoprint at the second level. Unable to decode the japanese words that was written in the machine, we took a stab. But it worked. We were able to complete the process with ease.

Afterward, we took bus number 700 to Suntec City and went to Marche, recommended by my other half, to have our lunch. One word to describe the food there; DELICIOUS.

My other half and I ordered Fish and Wedges which were extremely mouth-watering. And then I ordered Cream of Mushroom soup while my other half ordered clam chowder soup.

My soup was cheaper but tastier while my other half's was the other way round. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time there. Oh, not forgetting, I ordered a Vanilla shake which was simply delicious.

Like what I'd told my other half, I would not mind having to order a few more vanilla shake.

It was almost four when we got out of Marche. Then we decided to watch movie. It was a toss between The Kungfu Hustle and Phantom of the Opera. But in the end, we chose Kungfu Hustle.

While we were at the ticketing counter to purchase our tickets, I spotted Michelle Chia, the lux lady and Shaun Chen together buying movie tickets. I was exhilarated and was jumpy to see famous celebrities right in front of me.

But I was disappointed to see that both of them had put up an arrogant face. Bleah!

After the movie, we walked in the crowded shopping center of Suntec City and we decided to play a game. Whoever could find 10 people who were wearing hooded jackets would win the game and the losing party would have to forfeit.

With my unbelievably sharp eyes, I spotted all ten and won. But being the kind me, my other half did not need to do any forfeit.

Then we advanced to Marina Square's MacDonald to have our dinner.

After dinner, I sent my other half home which was all the way at Hougang.

I reached home ten minutes before midnight and called my other half to celebrate the New Year over the phone.

At the stroke of midnight, I wished my family, my other half and my sister who was celebrating outside with her friends a happy new year.

Afterward, I took a bath and that was when I was reborn into a new person. A new year, a new beginning.

I promised myself not to make too many mistakes this year and if do, I will amend them right away unlike last year.

This year, I hope I can be more decisive on the decisions I make, a much more healthier love relationship and be more spend-thrift.
