programme line-up to encourage youth expression, social participation, and showcase talent! An amalgamation of sports and music, PUMP IT! 2014 is a fiesta for rockers and jocks. The fiesta will be held on 22 and 23 March 2014 and promises to deliver a packful of heart-pounding activities at

Sports Competitions
PUMP IT! 2014 brings 5 different urban sports in one arena. The fiesta will feature the first-ever panna cage competition to be held in Singapore and many other unique sports competitions. Youth sports enthusiasts will battle it out and stretch their limits in sports challenges for the ultimate glory. The winning teams will stand a chance to win over $4,000 in cash and product prizes!
Appearance by Team Singapore Basketball players
At the recent 27th SEA Games in Myanmar, the team earned a well-deserved Bronze medal –
Singapore’s first medal in Men’s Basketball after 34 years. They displayed great fighting spirit against regional powerhouses Philippines and Thailand before beating strong rivals Malaysia and Indonesia on the way to their third place finish. Supported by Singapore Sports Council, meet the four Team Singapore Basketball Players - Delvin Goh, Ng Hanbin, Lim Sheng Yu, and Tan Chin Hong who will be starring in the upcoming movie, Meeting The Giant 《 再 见 巨 人》 .
Fringe Activities
Adding to the atmosphere, *SCAPE will be partnering with several sports organisations such as Dream+, Singa-Sports Academy, Reactiv Singapore, Urban HangOut and Urban Street Team to hold try-out sessions for over 20 different sports and sports workshops free for all youths to try their hand at. Youths will be able to experience a series of unconventional urban sports such as bloop football, slacklining, tchoukball and more, all at one location in the heart of Orchard Road.
*SCAPE Confesstival
An upgrade of our regular monthly *SCAPE Confessions Outdoor Concert, PUMP IT! 2014 will feature a music festival on 22 March to showcase our up-and-coming local talents and rock the evening away. Adding more sparks to the show, the inaugural annual Youth Jammerz Battle of the Bands 2014 competition will also be held on 23 March, where upcoming rockers fight for the glory of cash prizes and sponsored recordings. This programme encourages youth performers to continue expressing themselves positively through music, build new friendships and establish new networks in the industry.
