To be perfectly honest, I am neither a Lady GaGa fan nor a fan of her songs. Catchy, no. Inspirational, maybe. NOT RADIO-FRIENDLY AT ALL. When Lady GaGa released her new single in the same month as Katy Perry, I KNOW for sure KATY'S song will be number 1 on Billboard. Catchy. Radio-friendly.

Katy Perry plans to release Klas Åhlund-produced dance track “Walking On Air” as a promo single on September 30. It will be our third taste of Prism after iTunes-slaughtering “Roar” and future trap classic “Dark Horse”.

From the 30 second preview that surfaced online in August, the icy synth-anthem should be another slam dunk — sounding like a cross between Crystal Waters circa 1994 and modern day Robyn. However, Katy wants you to know that it’s not an official single. She said as much on Twitter.
