The 2nd Month Celebration: The First Day

They were so many downs and yet again, we quarreled. The day before we meet, I decided to shortened our conversation on the phone to aviod any other misunderstanding before meeting. At the same time, I miss you so much since I felt that it has been long since we last met.

I was feeling a little unwell so we decided to meet at 3 at City Hall MRT Station. The moment I saw you, I wanted to hug you so badly but I believe both of us were feeling a little awkward with each other since 1) it has been a while since we last saw each other, 2) we did not know how to express our feelings to each other.

We went to the nearest cybercafe to print our certain documents before taking a cab to the chalet at Changi Village.

The moment we arrived, we were looking for the place. Shocked we were when it was actually a flat that seems a little run down from the exterior of the building but nevertheless all we were thinking about was to have a great time with each other.

We reached the supervisor's room, took the keys and proceeded to our unit.

It was a three room Changi holiday flat.

The flat has two bedrooms.

Oone for ours, the other one for the guests.

The kitchen. Seriously, my sweetie didn't like the toilet.

We need to fill up the table with food fast!

Tadah!

I invited my close friends and we had great fun at night!

Syaiful, Sham, where were you?

The Granny Whom I Can't Save

Three years back, at this very day, maybe at this very hour, I was at Chinatown Point with my friend, doing some errands before he headed for dinner at Banquet somewhere near that place. Though I still remembered we ended up at one of those ruin down coffeeshop.

We were near the pedestrian crossing, with both of our hands carring alot of plastic bags and shopping bags. An old granny was in front of us, walking really really slowly.

My cell phone rang.

The streets were crowded and noisy. I could not hear what the person was talking about on the other line. I hang up.

Then I heard a loud horn coming from one of the cars on the road. I turned and saw a white mercedes car which I thought was moving at 40 km/h which tried to stop before it got to the pedestrian crossing.

Why?

Because there were pedestrians crossing. A little boy and his mother ran back to the other side while the teenage girl dashed across. She made it. I think she was a sprinter.

But there was one who walked so slowly. And she was the old granny.

I dropped my shopping bags to the ground and dashed towards her. I pushed those who were blocking my way aside.

Time seemed to stood still.

The granny turned her head and saw the car. My hands reached out and manage to touch her sleeves but someone pulled the back of my shirt and I had to let go of the granny's sleeve.

"You can't save her! You'll die too if you try to..." The words coming from a stranger behind me seem soft and slow.

The car hit her.

Time seemed to move on at normal speed again. I fell to the ground landing on the stranger behind me.

I closed my eyes, not wanting to see what had happened.

Till today, I blamed myself for not saving her..

The Boys

Many girls have fetish over army guys and their uniforms, so feast your eyes.

This is what become of them when they waited for more than 4 hours before National Day started. We had to laze around before we were called back for work. We were like free labourers.

Free labourers to them!

This isn't our jobscope.

This is just one of many many photos of us during National Day.

Grateful

The few things in life I'm grateful to have are families and friends and of course, my other half. Without them, life would be rather dull and one dimension. They are my strengths. They are my support. They are my love ones.

I was so afraid a few days ago when I was not on talking terms with my mum. We didn't really communicate with one another for three days. I wondered why and even asked my other half, "Why isn't my mum responding to my messages? She hasn't call yet?"

Then I realized that my family is very important to me.

My mum and dad and my grandma are the supporter. They are always there for me. My sister is my partner in crime. (Insert laughters). She's really fun to be with.

And my best friends, Yahn, Edison, Ivan, Jaishree, Mira, Brandon, Sham and Syaiful. These people are those whom I know from the net. they started off as my blog readers and there after my friends. We hang out with each other except for Jaishree and even talk crap about life.

And of course my long years friends, Janet, Durka, Devi, Erlina, Salimie, Michelle and many more.

Not forgetting, my other half and M.

These are the people that kept me going. There are those I cherish and will never let go.

Why am I writing all these? Because I want them to know that I appreciate them. I am their friends. And I will never let them go.

You very drama-mama leh! said Jonathan.

I guess it would be a waste if you don't watch the movie, Click, starring Adam Sandler. It's a funny show but wait till you watch the ending... It's unexpected.

Dearest M; The Comfort

"I have learned, that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours."

I dare to dream. I dare to take up challenges. I am me.

"Whatever I have tried to do in life, I have tried with all my heart to do it well; whatever I have devoted myself to, I have devoted myself completely; in great aims and in small I have always thoroughly been in earnest."

I know you are troubled when I saw you acting strangely at the memorial. I didn't dare question as for I did not want to worsen things. People often judge you with your past but a few doesn't. If you did not do any wrongs, when others accuse you to have done so, close your eyes, take a deep breath and explain to them.

And if it doesn't get to them, then you have to make them trust you again. That's how life works.

All were silent went we were at explanade and then you cried. I'm not a good comforter. I'm sorry. But I did not want to see you sad.

I tried to dry your tears but you brushed my hands off. I knew why you did that.

I knew.

"Life has taught us that love does not consist of gazing at each other, but in looking together in the same direction."

I teased you a couple of times to liven things up. (Insert laughters) Silly M! But don't get me wrong.

M, you have many many things in life which I believe are not yet complete. Finish them.

Dear M, can you still give me those eyes of yours?

Or I shall gorge them out!

National Day Parade

This is the last year we celebrated our National Day at the stadium. Thankfully, my unit has free tickets to give away. I had a pair of tickets so I gave them to my parents. I apologize to my sister for not getting a ticket for her. I only have two.

While my parents were enjoying the parade, I was busy preparing the neccessities for the parade.

What was my jobscope? - Setting up the fireworks.

It's really nice to see families going to the stadium to watch the parade.

The stadium soon was filled up.

The army personnels were making the final adjustments of the tamboline before the parade starts.

They are good. I'm afraid of heights and I will never do these kind of stunts even if it's for charity.

The choirs!

The flying fox! The army personnels were holding onto the wires tightly as the hosts glided down to the ground.

Very nice right?

But the hightlight of the night was the fireworks. These performances can be seen every year during the National Day.

Whee~!

Happy National Day everyone!

Diva Behavior

"Ka ni na beh! You're late again! And you're late for 15 minutes! I don't like to wait for people!" shouted Sham.

That was two years ago.

Yes, many know me as the guy who will always be late for meetings. They make a point that they set the timing to meet an hour earlier for me. That's sickening! Come on, who's never late in their life before? Am I right to say that?

Then, I started to meet my friends on a much later timing that they've set.

2 hours! Melinda and Josh waited for me 2 Freaking hours but they didn't complain. I knew they were angry but I did not apologize.

"You're really a diva huh, Isaac? You can beat Mariah Carey hands down!"

And the ground breaking record I set was being late for 21 hours. And that was my meeting with Yahn.

Fuck you Isaac! Fuck you hard hard!

I'm just being me.

Dearest M

You have the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. Your eyes, green and electrifying, are those I would want to have. Your eyes are your beauty. With those eyes of yours, you can simply make them fall for you.

Look into them and they will stop and look at you back.

M, I apologize for asking you to accompany me yesterday. I felt bad. (Insert Laughters)

It's really hilarious to see Yahn and you debating on certain issues. I wasn't really participating in your conversations. I kept quiet and listened. Your answers were brilliant and you proved that you were quite intellectual even though you look like those typical fierce-looking and I-did-not-study-well-in-school type of person.

Those conversations just blow me away.

I like conversing with intellectual people. I don't deny that I could be rather dumb at times. Sometimes, people may find me cute being dumb and others irritated by it.

But I cant deny that I fall for my other half because of the mind-blowing conversations we had.

M, can you give me your eyes?

There are certain things that you said which I could not completely believe. I guess smart people often think their ass out of tough questions. But like I said, I'm not a total dumb guy. There are things that did not tally up.

Yahn could not detect them and even said I was stupid. (Insert laughters) Today, you told me all that was onced lies. I knew I was right.

M, you suck! (You know I'm kidding) By the way, you won't finish reading ALL my entries within a day so happy reading!

Unlocking The Heart

I wondered if ever my friends will get tired of listening to my ramblings. I've been confiding in them, telling how I feel and what's been bothering me and they have always been my listening ears.

Then again I thought that they will get bored of my stupid whinings and blow their heads off anytime soon. I can't always go to them whenever I have problems or when I have something to whine about.

That is why I have a blog. And a blog is suppose to let me write all my personal feelings down. But nowadays, you hardly see me whine, instead I showed the surface me. I showed the side of me who would always want to please others and feel miserable for myself.

I guess this will be the most honest entry I am going to write.

To think of it, I'm suppose to blog about my feelings. I have been bottling up inside me that I believe if I don't let them out, I'm going to have a breakdown.

As I'm writing this entry, I felt happier that I don't have to put a mask on anymore.

Oh before I continue, I want to wish a Happy 2nd month anniversary to my beloved honey.

Somehow I feel neglected. But then again, I can't really complain. I want to make this a perfect relationship. This is one of those relationships that I think can go far and this is one of those which I think I've been really really honest of.

We discussed our problems. We don't hide our feelings. We don't have masks on.

But the only thing that is bothering me is that will we have time for each other? Or should I say would you set aside a little more time for me?

I'm not complaining nor asking too much from you. (P/S: I'm not pissed. I'm not upset or disappointed.)

I've given you ample of space to breathe. I only book out once a week and only have half my friday till Sunday to spend. Let's say if you have extra cirriculum on Friday, I have only Saturday and Sunday to spend time with you. And if you were to meet up with your friends on Saturday or Sunday, I'll only have a day with you. Or maybe, I can't spend the weekends with you at all if I have plans with my family.

But after some considerations, we have our own life and friends. You can't always be spending time with me every week. And you'll wonder, "What about my friends? Will I ever have the time to spend with them?"

Then I realized it's not about the amount of time we spend together but the quality of our meeting.

A couple can spend the whole of Saturday together but if they quarrel or do meaningless stuff on their date, then they've just wasted a perfect day.

A couple can spend just two hours of seeing each other but if they make up for their two hours, having candlelight dinner, holding hands, whispering sweet words to each other, that's what I called quality over time. They will be taking their relationship to the next level.

Still after so much I've said, I love you whole-heartedly.

One thing that really make me sick to the stomach is how people can actually hate someone by only hear hearsays from strangers who claims to know that someone they are going to hate.

These people just poison the thoughts of the innocence. And then they turn evil like them.

Humans. That's how they are.

Singapore's 41st Birthday

Happy 41st birthday Singapore!

I hereby declare that Singapore Idol 2 sucks big time. We lost Rahimah Rahim this week. What's wrong with you people?

This is not a who-has-got-the-good-look competition. This is a singing competition. Judge them by their voice and not their looks!

Paul Twohill and Joakim Gomez are still in the competition. Do they have great voices? I don't think so. Joakim is just a looker while Paul Twohill only has the X factor. There's nothing special for both of them.

Judging from this week's voting, I think Matilda is still in the bottom 3.

People, please make a wiser decision. Keep her and vote Joakim and Paul Twohill out!

Stupid Questions / Incoherent Blabberings

Hey Mike, do you rather have sex with girls who moan monotonously or girls who screams to the top of their voice?

Mike was stunned by the question I asked.

Chocolate dipped in chilli sauce or cheesecake dipped in curry?

Mike, "Huh..."

"You like girls who are tall with big big boobs or girls who are short with very small boobs?"

Mike, "What the..."

He was going crazy.

Enough of him, I think I drove bob to nuts too with my incoherent blabberings.

Bob, "Damn, we're going to go back home pretty late today."

"I know. It's like eating apple and pizza together."

Bob, "..."

"And it's like having a Mona Lisa potrait displayed at Abigail's house," I ,myself, have no idea what I was talking about.

While others go crazy, Wei Siong responded well to my incoherent talks.

Wei Siong, "It's like chicken and vanilla ice-cream right?"

They say I'm going crazy. But let's ask the experts instead.

We talked to Madam Morselle.

So what can we conclude from icyboy's incoherent talks?

"I believe he's not him."

"What do you mean by that?" asked Lily.

"He's possessed. A spirit is trapped in his body. That's not him talking. It could be a child spirit who lost his way. Thinking that or maybe icyboy resembles like the child's father, the child spirit entered his body."

"Sounds complicated..." they said.

"Get a priest to cleanse him as for I am of no help."

Terra Naomi

I believe she can make it big. She plays the guitar and piano and her voice is unique. She's honest with her music.

"I am who I am, And if you don't like it, FUCK YOU man. I'm not a thief and a whore."

"I'm walking around, got some extra time think I'll throw some money down. And you follow me around, you're asking for the time, you're asking what I've found... Maybe it's the tattoo on my arm that I drew."

The Rock 'N' Roll Side Of Them

Upon hearing that my friends will be performing at the streets outside the Paragon buliding, I rushed down from Bugis.

"Benjamin and gang performing? This got to be kidding! I have to see for myself..."

By the time I reached, they had started performing. I did not know that Benjamin knows how to play the guitar. (Benjamin, is the one in light brown shirt)

He played well. The crowds grew.

And the singer is also my friend. Critics for his singing; he was shouting instead of singing! But the crowds were pleased. A few girls were dancing, with their hairs flying all over their face.

Teenage girls nowdays are so easy to please.

My company medic was there to support Benjamin too!

"Why are they standing and sitting outside, with the sun scrotching hot, burning their skins! Isn't it better here in the shades, protected against the sun and I still am able to see them performing..."

And my company medic kept on whining.

They're performing to help the hungry kids and homeless people and poor old men and women.

I'm proud of them.

Ah! I forgot to mention that Benjamin's single and he's looking for a girlfriend. If you're single and like him, DATE HIM. Ask me for his number ok?
