Development milestones of Kin Teck Tong
1967 – The founding of Kin Teck Tong.
Founded by Chow Tze Tien (father of Chow Yuen Pin, Kin Teck Tong’s Medical Director), Kin Teck Tong started out as a pharmaceutical distributor, importing medicines from overseas for retail at various TCM clinics in Singapore.
1999 – The transformation of Kin Teck Tong.
When Chow Yuen Pin took over the helm, he transformed Kin Teck Tong into a full-fledged medical centre that specializes in Pain Treatment. Our first centre, which is also our headquarters, was set up in Woodlands, which we subsequently shifted to Eunos.
2013 – The expansion of Kin Teck Tong.
Kin Teck Tong opened its first branch at Chinatown Point to meet to the increase in demand by customers who come from different parts of Singapore.
The other day, we were invited to Kin Teck Tong to try out their TCM.

Don't worry! You can tell them your problem and they will find the right treatment for you.
No One Should Live With Pain
Given today’s lifestyle and work pressures, many people are caught in a state of sub-optimal health. The tropical climate in this part of the world, where most people shuttle constantly between air-conditioned indoors and outdoors under the hot sun at least a few times in a day with many quick, abrupt switches of temperatures, many of us are susceptible to falling ill.
For those who live behind the desk, the sedentary work-style causes stiff joints and muscle tensions around the neck and shoulders, lower back and wrists, eye strains and sleep problems. On the other hand, the hectic pace and the constant pressures we face at work are causing some of us to compromise on exercises, observe irregular meal hours and keep late nights.
As societies open up and cities are internationally connected, diseases are no long confined to our home walls. We are all vulnerable in one way or another. And as our age, we get hit by chronic illnesses and many of us have to go on long term medication.
All of these factors affect our immunity and cause us to be susceptible to ailments and illnesses. The busy lifestyle causes many of us to overlook our general well-being, with some simply living with pain, which can be tell-tale signs of inherent health problems.
At Kin Teck Tong, we believe that no one should live with pain. In TCM, pain occurs where there is a congestion or blockage of internal circulation of the Qi (“气”, or vital energy within) and the blood. In adopting a holistic approach towards health management,
Their Vision is to be your partner of choice in healthcare;
Their Mission is to preserve the virtues of Traditional Chinese Medicine
and promote and spread the TCM culture;
Their Goal is to achieve this through a multi-prong approach comprising,
Is it your first time visiting them?
The image below shows patient flow chart.
At least you will know the process.
* Healing of the mental and physical states,
* Integration of the tradition with modern treatment methods,
combining herbal cures, special massage techniques, acupuncture and moxibustion, and
* Balance of the internal well-being with the external.
These are the place that they kept their medicine!
* Herbal Powder (per gram) - $0.70
*Herbal Pills (Daily) - $3.40
The place is clean and tidy and comfy.
You can wait comfortably at the waiting area
before your consultation with the physician.
They will invite you to reconnect with your body. Massage therapy provides relief from common aches and pains that result from time spent over computers, at desks, standing over someone or something (dentists, construction workers and so on), or on tired feet.
Massage therapy also relieves common ailments such as thoracic outlet and carpal tunnel syndrome, chronic lower back pain, pain caused by sciatic nerve restriction, and TMJ syndrome.
Massage therapy enhances your life by reducing stress, improving circulation and flushing out toxins and boosting your immune system. For you this means an opportunity to feel truly comfortable in your own body. Your overall health and well being improves while your stress levels decrease. You become a more productive, happier person. Massage therapy will improve the quality of your life!
They have two type of rooms, one for male, another for female
so my dear lady don't need to worry sharing room with male
haha!!!
We were both in the same room with the curtains as the partition.
The therapists did the 'Tui Na' on us.
To those who've experienced both acupressure and Shiatsu,
a Tui Na session may seem like a cross between the two.
Like Shiatsu, Tui Na uses rhythmic compression along energy channels of the body,
as well as a variety of techniques that manipulate and lubricate the joints.
Like acupressure, Tui Na directly affects the flow of energy by
holding and pressing the body at acupressure points.
One of Tui Na's advantages over simple massage
is its ability to focus on specific problems, especially chronic pain associated
with the muscles, joints, and skeletal system.
It's especially effective for joint pain (such as arthritis), sciatica, muscle spasms,
and pain in the back, neck, and shoulders.
It also helps chronic conditions such as insomnia, constipation,
headaches (including migraines), and the tension associated with stress.
Tui Na does not simply work on the muscles, bones, and joints.
It works with the energy of the body at a deeper level.
As the practitioner senses the client's body with his/her hands,
He/She is able to assess the distribution of energy and affect its flow.
Honestly speaking, we really felt good after the massage and we really felt so refreshing!
Bursting with lots of energy. You guys have got to come and and give it a try.
