中国怪味鸡公煲 Zhong Guo Guai Wei Ji Gong Bao

So the other day, I was at 中国怪味鸡公煲  Zhong Guo Guai Wei Ji Gong Bao. They have three outlets in total and we went to the one at 110 Yishun Ring Road.

How to get there?

Alight at Yishun MRT and take 800 or 811 from Yishun Interchange and alight at the bus stop near block 101.

I was greeted by one of their friendly staff, Ziwei whom recommended us their specialties and side dishes!








Basically, it isn't difficult to locate their stall. The moment you reach block 110, you will see their big signboard with facebook like sign at its side.


We chose chicken pot (Kampung Chicken) and Ziwei recommended the few side dishes that go well with the chicken pot; Special meatball, cabbage, fried taukee, golden mushroom and pig skin.

Step 1: Eat the chicken when serves as it's already cooked. They use Kampong chicken for better taste and texture.

Step 2: Refill the soup to have it as steamboat.

Step 3: Side dishes are available at the fridge infront of the stall.




There's two color plates indication for the side dishes.

The red plate cost $3.00

The black plate cost $5.00

Totally worth it for the prices.


 When you mix the dishes into the hotpot, the soup actually tastes much, much sweeter.
