In the genre-specific competitions: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis somehow walked away with the Favorite Hip-Hop Artist trophy, Fall Out Boy nabbed Favorite Alternative Band, One Direction were named Favorite Band, Tim McGraw was declared Favorite Country Music Icon, and Taylor Swift continued to Bogart the Favorite Country Artist, winning that race for the fourth year in a row.
