So now that the whole world cup fever is over, we can finally take some time to reflect upon...Nope not who trashed who or who bit who...but on JLo's outfit at her debut performance of 'We Are One' with Pitbull and Claudia Leitte! It has been a while since we saw much of JLo, since her last appearance here in Singapore in Dec 2012, during her global Dance Again World Tour. Man was that one show to attend. Not only was the stage lit up with brilliant colours and a mass of laser lights, the entire crowd at Gardens By The Bay (Me included) was literally ignited by the slender 44 year old, and seeing her shake her much acclaimed asset can seriously inflict a nose bleed.
Since then, JLo has split from Casper Smart, her then dancer who is nearly half her age - and she has never looked any better. Be prepared to join a long line of potential suitors waiting to be merely considered by the Queen of Salsa herself! It was fortunate enough she was able to perform at the opening of the World Cup 2014, which she allegedly pulled out of initially. Who else would be able to shake it till your drools are uncontrollable? Well Shakira perhaps? But no one compare to JLo's unique style and stage presence. She definitely knows how to conjure a crowd. At a recent performance, she donned a seemingly familiar green blouse/jump suit, as with her breathtaking gown back in the 2000 Grammy Awards, when she was still with P Diddy. A slight improvement don't you think?
Jennifer Lopez is one of the many artists who has managed to age so gracefully, sometimes it makes you wonder if they are actually reversing the clock. Indeed, JLo has never looked any better and she knows it. Putting that to her advantage, JLO's newest album features her in a skin tight red Versace leather strap dress that accentuates her very assets that we have all been drawn to for decades. The details are amazing, especially when she adds in Versace jewellery.
I guess no one aside from Madonna wears Versace that well. Okay maybe Charlize Theron or Penelope Cruz do, but I'd say JLo tops the list.
