Dumb Me Answering My Own Question

I asked a friend of mine , " wow, what a nice RED EVERLAST shirt. Where did you get it from?"

Lindsay vowed to get her life back on track after being released from rehab for the sixth time last year and has stayed sober other than one blip which was captured on her reality TV show Lindsay.

Although she has cleaned up her act, it is alleged that financiers aren't still have major concerns about her due to her past reputation and are concerned she won't be reliable on set. 

''There is currently no date for filming to begin on Lindsay's 'Inconceivable' ... producers are having trouble getting money for the project. There is always the problem of insuring Lindsay for movies. Her diva behaviour, not showing up on time, or at times, Lindsay doesn't even arrive at all. It's very likely this movie will never get made.

''The only reason Inconceivable was pitched at Sundance was an attempt to garner interest and create buzz about the project. It didn't. Lindsay is currently in Europe attempting raise money for the project, but isn't having any luck.''

YWQ Vegetarian Bistro

Yuan Wei Quan (YWQ Vegetarian Bistro) is just about 1.5 month old when we visited the restaurant. It is located in the newly constructed CT Hub, opposite Bendeemer MRT which is under construction. As this building is relatively new, this place is really quiet with only a handful of shops opened at the moment. 

What does a “vegetarian diet” mean? The term “vegetarian” is really a misnomer, since vegetarians eat more than just vegetables. Vegetarian simply means a plant-based diet. There are several kinds of vegetarian diets, defined by what types of foods are consumed.

Looks like we finally have a food trend that both vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians will vouch for. If you love eating meat on a regular basis, but don’t want to include it in every meal, you can now opt for mock meats, a vegetarian substitute for real meat. 

These substitutes are usually made with wheat gluten or soy! Just like regular meat, they try and mimic its chewy texture and are a very good source of protein, minus the cholesterol found in non-vegetarian meat! 

The mock fish from YWQ is thin and crispy, made of beancurd skin and seaweed. It does not seems to be those store-bought mock fish. The Teriyaki sauce did wonders to the mock fish. It adds those extra flavors.

    We had our food tasting at the Makiway Japanese casual dining restaurant at #01-02 of Katong Shopping Centre on 22 April 2014 (Thursday)!

- We absolutely love the Smoked Salmon Cheese Maki (only $8 for a generous sliced Maki roll topped with Ebiko shrimp roe!), Fried Hot &  Spicy Chicken Wings with Waffle Fries (Only $8.90 for 6 pieces), & Teriyaki Chicken With Meatball Ramen (only $13.50!)!

FOOD REVIEW:

1) Smoked Salmon Cheese Maki (only $8 for a generous sliced Maki roll topped with Ebiko shrimp roe!)

- The slices of Maki were all evenly cut and the rice used was genuine Japonica Uruchima rice, cooked just right and compressed with just the right amount of pressure into neat slices of seaweed wrapped Maki slices.

- The flavor and texture of the cream cheese complimented the pieces of smoked salmon in the Maki

The Fujifilm Instax Share is the answer for folks who want an easy way to print some cute Polaroid-like photos through your phone. A portable 253-gram device that slips into a bag easily, it spits out small credit card-sized prints of your smartphone photos in the simplest, idiot-proof manner.
