Celine...Oh Celine!

We've talked about Madonna, it's time to talk about someone who actually sings for a living - the legendary Celine Dion.

I've always been fascinated by the Canadian-born singer, by how quickly she picked up the languages of France and England. She apparently claimed that Michael Jackson was her inspiration, when she saw him on TV when she was at the tender age of 9. Another astounding thing is how she's remained so gorgeous all these years, without having to undergo much plastic surgery.

When I saw her live at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, last year in December, the singer with a blessed voice actually made eye contact with me and that mere moment (from the fourth row) was breathtaking. But what are we here to talk about? Not so much about her music, not so much about the fact that she's still so sexy after giving birth to yet another baby boy, not so much about the fact that she's raking in a whopping $500K a night after her show, but about her fashion sense. Let's take a look at what she wore during the performance.

So Celine decided to hire, no persuade, a few of our treasured gods of fashion to make her gowns this time. Givenchy, Versace, Elie Saab, Balmain and Armani all had a part to play in her deliverance of a wonderful 90 minute show.

Mint Elie Saab - her stylist Annie Horth said the dress reflects a departure from the singer's usual glitz, something Old Hollywood, very soft and Grace Kelly.
Armani Prive - with 25,000 crystals embedded onto the gown, this number also has a V opening at the front to flaunt Celine's figure and enhance her sex appeal. What a beaut!

Balmain - They were thankful her legs didn't change in size after her pregnancy, lest more alterations would have been needed. Slinky and sexy, well done, my priestess.
Pure white Versace - the asymmetrical gown shows Celine's versatility, and she dons this number when she sings a dramatic French song, with the eventuality of her precious tears streaking down her flawless skin.
Versace - Celine sings her timeless classic, 'My Heart Will Go On' in this number, which was designed to  reflect the dazzling waterfall which surrounded her on stage whilst singing. With 15 metres of chiffon, she works pure magic in the closing.
Balmain - River Deep, Mountain High? Is this too sexy for her? Or should she have stuck to her usual McQueen pieces in her previous show in 07'?
Givenchy - Whilst doing a tribute to the King of Pop, she dons a 30 pound metal jacket coupled with leggings and sky high pumps that just go so well together. Michael would've been so proud.
Armani - her white dress, that is cleaned 5 times before each show. Now how's that for extravagance.

Well done Celine, after all these years, you are still working hard for your money, and I'll never forget the moment when you looked at me in the eye and pointed while singing 'Because You Loved Me' on that very day. Continue uplifting people with your voice, your music, and now that I've dug up your entire wardrobe list, your fashion.

Ladies, for complete class, style and glamour, she is a great example to emulate.
