James came up with the philosophy of ‘surrendering to life’ and so when we started our clothes label in 2004 we decided to call it Surrender.

Our own line of apparel under the Surrender brand, plus bags, accessories, shoes and Japanese clothing labels like Neighbour, Visvim and Head Porter.
Previously located within a nondescript shophouse on Devonshire Road, multi-label store Surrender has been one of the best kept secrets among discerning underground fashion fans. But the store’s new and more assessible location will likely draw more curious passers-by and possibly an even larger following!
