10 Years...

10 years is how much longer happy people may live up to, compared to their pessimistic peers.

Life is full of choices we make - and happiness, believe it or not, is one of them.

Do not believe everything you think. Interrupt any downward spirals and anxiety by questioning your negative thoughts. Just because you think something, does not make it true.

Ground yourself in gratitude. Research shows thinking of the things you are grateful in life raises your happiness level. Writing them down is even more powerful.

Incline your mind towards joy. Your mind tends to register negative events in your life more than positive - reverse this consciously savouring the positive experience you have as they happen. Let the good feelings sink in.
