Museum Of Horrors Official Launch 2013 - Available From 18th October 2013 To 30th October-2013

Last year there was a successful turnout of 3,000 pax, therefore this year SCAPE returns with its 4th Halloween signature event with students from Singapore Polytechnic leading
project, supported by Movie Mania to re-visit Singapore's novel paranormal places.

The Event officially launched yesterday 17 Oct 2013 and will last till 31st of October, promises a gory and terrifying experience for participants; from the ghost bride and her lost ring at Old Tampines Road, to the infamous Bedok Reservoir.

Gruesome Photo booth at SCAPE Warehouse in the spirit of Halloween, the management will engage the public and get them involved in the festival. A photo booth will be placed outside SCAPE Warehouse for the public to show off their scariest and ugliest (or prettiest!) costumes and makeup.

Witness how SCAPE and Movie Mania bring these haunting stories to life, as visitor can have first-hand supernatural encounters.

To enhance the impact created, the organizers took up a guerrilla approach to market the event. Students and Volunteers spent three weekends leading up to the official launch executing their guerrilla marketing:

(1) a flash ghost wedding and funeral walking along Orchard Road.
(2) The wedding walking was inspired by outdoor wedding shoots.
(3) It features a groom, his bride and a ghost, dolled up in Halloween makeup.

Think Your Way Out is a reality escape game in Singapore. For the first time this year, TYWO is collaborating with Museum of Horrors to create Chapter 2 of TYWO, incorporating the Halloween theme into the game. Additional, participants will also be able to  acquire hints for TYWO while participating in Museum of Horrors 2013. Participants can purchase a bundle of one TYWO Chapter 2 tickets and one Museum of Horrors 2013 ticket at the price of $38.

They are also conducting additional programmes to constantly engage participants and the crowd throughout the 14 days events. The programmes are the following:

Horror Workshop

SCAPE and Movie Mania have conducted a one and a half hour workshop on 5th, 6th, 12th and 13th October from 3pm onwards. The horror workshop is part of the management's volunteer engagement programme, which enables volunteers to learn how gory and grisly props used in Halloween sets are made, and get tips on how to apply creepy make-up for Halloween.
