A YouTube video of a young American woman expressing her discontent with her working environment at a Taiwan digital news animation company has gone viral online, and as of press time is closing in on 8 million views since it was uploaded on Sept. 28.
In the nearly two-minute film entitled An Interpretive Dance for My Boss Set to Kanye West's Gone, Marina Shifrin is seen dancing in an empty office at 4:30 am.
"For almost two years I've sacrificed my relationships, time and energy for this job," the subtitle reads. "And my boss only cares about quantity and how many views each video gets," she explains by means of subtitles that accompany her gyrations, concluding by announcing that her public protest is also her resignation letter.
