Day 15: A Day in Taichung

With a new gal friend!

And I finally met up with Ewan! Thanks for the gift and the tour and the lunch!

Taichung Railway Building is the landmark building of Taichung due to its unique architecture of Renaissance style that was built by the Japanese government's Meiji-period reform movement in 1917. The building is very similar to the Japanese Imperial Governor-General's Office in Taipei. The colorful clock tower on the central part of the building is the most beautiful part of the building. On April 22 1995, it was preserved as a historical site of Taiwan.

There is a Taiwan Tourism Board Office in the Railway Station.

Taichung Railway Station is still operating as a station to link between north and south of Taiwan.

Don't miss!

Made a new friend, Captain! Tattoo to prove it! LOL!
