According to the UK's Daily Mail, the 44-year-old diva was slammed for her poor performance this past weekend, which kicked off her Elusive Chanteuse World Tour.
Despite an enviable catalogue of hits on her setlist, one Twitter user, Elle, reportedly wrote: "It's a wrap for Mariah Carey's singing career. You're a legend. Time to retire. She can't sing anymore. At all. What happened?"
Another tweeted after seeing the video: "Y'all. Mariah Carey really can't sing anymore. That was hard to listen to. I see why Mariah Carey never sings live anymore".
But another, called asalafanclub, wrote, "If you people continue to be rude, I can see her killing herself like Whitney (Houston) and Robin (Williams) did".
