The other day, my friends (Wilsen, J, Ivan and Joshua) and I were invited by AJ to help out a filming at DSC Clinic.
We had to pretend to be patients there.
While waiting for filming to start, we played with AJ's hair.
Nice, right? LOL!
DSC Clinic performs routine HIV testing for our patients. If you do not wish to be screened, please inform their medical or nursing staff.
Types of HIV Tests available
¡ HIV Antibodies Blood Test
¡ HIV Oral Rapid Test
¡ HIV Rapid Blood Test
HIV antibodies blood test & HIV rapid tests diagnose infection through detecting presence of antibodies against HIV virus in the human body.
A person is deemed high risk if they engage in the following:
· Unprotected sex/ oral sex with several partners or sex workers
· Unprotected sexual activity of any form with a HIV positive person
· Using shared needles
If you have ever engaged in any of the above, you are recommended to undergo HIV antibodies blood test every 6 to 12 months.
Risk reduction and HIV/STD prevention
· Abstain from sex
· Be faithful to 1 sexual partner
· Avoid alcohol / drugs before sex as it affects judgement and increases risk taking behaviour
· early diagnosis and treatment of infections
· Avoid using shared needles
