Taiwan - Day 8

Everyday in Taipei, we woke up late. But this round we woke up really early, enabling us to go to many places in one day.

We went to the first place which was a restaurant owned by an international singer-songwriter, Mr. Jay Chou!

He owns two restaurant, one in a school and the other South of Taipei.

You can find out more on Mr J.’s official website here. We visited the one at Guangfu South Road (光复南路) in Taipei.

There are many Jay Chou souvenirs and fringe products on offer at the reception, capitalising on the owner’s fame.

The food were so good, they melted in our mouths!

The address is as below:
No.43, Lane 308

Guangfu South Road, Da-an District

台北市光复南路308巷43号
Taipei City 106

Tel: (02)2731-2245
Remember to call and make a reservation before going down if it’s a weekend.
After that, we proceeded to Wufenpu.
The ready-made clothes distribution zone is a paradise for those who are looking for fashion at a fair or even cheap price. The whole area is dedicated to shopping housing hundreds of wholesale shops that sell to those in the center of Taipei. It's located a little bit far from the center of the city, on the North side of Xinyi District, but it really deserves a visit. The shops keep on changing their stuff every week, so you'll never find the same thing twice.

MRT: Houshanpi (Blue Line)

I didn't get to take any photos as we were busy shopping.
Then we proceeded back to Ximending for dinner with our friends/fans/blog readers.
