(Advertorial): My Relaxing Stay at The Pines at Melaka

“As you set foot into THE PINES, a sense of familiarity embraces your soul. Weaving dreamy, historical splendour with chic comforts, you’ll be immersed in the charm of olden days Malacca. Artistic details and cultural touches surround you. Be pampered with modern tranquillity and welcoming warmth. It’s nothing short of a nostalgic experience, infused with the harmony of instant serenity and urban passion."

Come on in to THE PINES, where traditional meets sophistication.

Relatively new hotel, impressively spacious rooms. Nicely decorated, minimal but effective. Braking tradition with very roomy sleeping/lounge/kitchenette areas, this resembles more of a serviced studio apartment.

With additional beds/futons, can comfortably fit 6+ people. Tiny bathrooms, but adequate with a large box of complimentary toiletries. WiFi and satellite TV equipped.

Beautiful high-rise pool area, with a faux garden and a playground set. Breakfast was the typical Asian-Western fare, nothing to shout about. If you're looking for a change of pace, the ground floor of the hotel is flanked with restaurants and cafes from the adjacent building. Pricing is comparable to budget hotels, a definite value for money experience.
