The Taipei Trip - Day 1, Part 1

So the day came. WAS EXHILARATED. My fourth time to Taiwan. But this time round, it's something special. You'll know soon enough, maybe in the next entry. Something big HAPPEN TO ME.

In the plane with Darryl. Thank you, Tiger Airways.

WELCOME TO TAIWAN.

I want to thank my Taiwan friend, PHIL, for picking us up from the airport. We arrived in Ximending, Taipei, less than 40 minutes. It will usually take more than an hour by cab. Phil took the shortcut. Then, we arrived at our lovely hotel, FU CHANG.

I TOTALLY WAS EXPECTING A STEAM ROOM IN MY BATHROOM. TOTALLY AWESOME. TOTALLY PSYCHED.

And not to mention, a fireplace. WOOHOO. On top of that, they have excellent customer service. This is a hotel worth staying at when you're in Taipei.

Thank you, Ernest, for the lovely red mini messenger bag.

We were then brought to Show Luo's boutique which is also located really near our hotel. Ah, the convenience. Thank you to the staffs who did a mini tour for us in his boutique.

Show Luo's boutique STAGE is located at No.78 Kunming Street, Xi Men Ding, Taipei 台北市西門町昆明街78號.

There's lots of street performances in Ximending. We headed to THE TOILET CAFE for lunch.

Ximending Modern Toilet restaurant : 2F, No 7, Lane 50, Xi-Ning South Road, Taipei Taiwan. Tel:(02)23118822 .

Want to enjoy your dinner served in a toilet? Most likely not under normal circumstances, but at Modern Toilet,  you’ll get a dining experience you’ll never forget.

The grub here is served up in dishes that resemble toilets, urinals, and bathtubs.
Make sure to try their shaved ice dessert, served in fancy urinal and topped with marshmallows, jelly, cookies and of course a swirl of soft serve that has a discernable likeness. Meals range from 100-200NT.

ON A SIDE NOTE, Singaporeans should be ashamed of themselves. Look at THE QUEUE.

SO ORDERLY. THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN IN SINGAPORE.

Seriously, Singaporeans just stand wherever they please, left, right, middle, GEEZ. THEY'RE ALWAYS BLOCKING PEOPLE'S WAY ESPECIALLY DURING THE PEAK HOURS. I'm not bitching. IT is the FACT.

Then, we headed down to Taipower mrt station and to the Music Records company to meet one of the Taiwanese producer. And that folks, will be written in my next entry.
