Look, if you can come up with a perfectly new, unused chord progression, please offer it up. Artists constantly borrow background music progressions because they can. What you fail to realize is that both of the songs are completely different lyrically. Honestly, artists give each other songs(in entirety) all the time. So why is it such a big deal when they share background music. Seriously, calm down and enjoy the message being portrayed in each song.
