Two hearts. Two hearts that beats as one.
Thats love.
When it comes to love, my family comes first. No one can replace the love they gave and I can never return that to them.
Love is when your partner burnt his fingers and lost his job during the 2003 recession yet you work doubly hard to pay his debt, gave birth to a boy and keep food on the table. Love is when your daughter took the last bus home and you been waiting at the bus stop since 10pm just to make sure shes save. Thats my mothers love.
My dad? Knowing that my toms are not waterproof, he nicely time my arrival and waited at the bus stop w two umbrellas. Love is when he wakes up at 5 every morning just to send me to school. Because he doesnt want me to school and work at the same time, he took on more jobs and subtly increase my pocket money to 1k.
There are many ways to show what love is and many ways to display them. Ive got 3 younger brothers and I know I am the center of their attention. Number 1 calls me promptly at 11pm every night to report my whereabouts and give me a time limit to get home. Number 2 opens the door or leaves key outside whenever I am home late at 4/5am. Number 3 cooks for me whenever I am hungry despite being the youngest and only 11 years old.
So what's love? Its the only thing that shines real bright to show you the way to your heart; the way home.
