It Doesn't Pay To Be Kind

I have always been kind to others. I have always been helping others.

There's this lady whom I offered to help because my new found friend who is a security guard told me to help her.

Out of good will, I offered to help.

Both her daughter and her daughter's boyfriend are in the Phillippines right now and they are looking for a job in Singapore.

I asked my friends who are working in Levis Lady, Carls Junior and Fox to check if they have any job vacancies.

Days later all of them replied me with good news.

So I photocopied the lady's daughter's and daughter's boyfriend's resumes and handed them to the respective shops.

So I thought on my part, that's done.

Never did I expect I am needed to do all the bloody callings to ensure that her daughter and the daughter's boyfriend get the job.

HELLO!

That's not my job anymore.

Can you believe it when the lady actually stepped into my shop today, she raised her voice questioning my help that I had been given to her for months.

And she even passed me the agent's number to ask me to call the agent to check if the resumes have been processed.

Note; THIS IS NOT MY JOB.

I am here to offer help to find job vacancies for them.

They get or don't get its not my business anymore.

They are coming to Singapore soon. Can you be a little faster?

What faster? Are you insane? I can't do much already.

If Fox outlet already scanned through their resumes but don't want to hire them, my business ah?

Geez, the people nowadays are insane!

It really doesn't pay to be kind.
