Let’s get one thing straight — there is only one Kylie on this planet and that’s Ms. Minogue. The Princess of Pop. The former Charlene Robinson. The Impossible Princess. Whenever you hear the name ‘Kylie’, you know exactly who to think of.
But the youngest (and most vapid) Jenner girl of the Kardashian-Jenner clan recently attempted to trademark her name as Kylie. Crazy, I know.
Minogue’s lawyers heard about this and are attempting to block the application submitted by Kim Kardashian’s half-sister. In fact, they filed a motion with the US Patent and Trademark Office back in February after Kylie (the Jenner version) tried to get her name trademarked for endorsements and whatever else she gets paid to do.
Now, considering Minogue owns the domain Kylie.com, which was established a year before Jenner was even born, the decision should be obvious.
But Ms. Minogue had to throw in a simple tweet of her own to make the reality TV star understand who she’s dealing with. And it was as epic as the Aussie pop princess herself — ‘Hello….. My name is KYLIE #lightyears’.
