Katy Perry IS Going To Set a New Record

Katy Perry is known for her catchy tunes and even more so for her unusual stage outfits. But she is about to break a record or more like 2 if she stays on her current track. She could be the first ever female artist to have 5 #1 hit singles off one album.

The record which was previously set by Michael Jackson in the 80s is the only one to have had such success. No female artist before has broke that record or stated her own. No other male artist has had such success either, thus making it a big record for any artist to break. Katy’s newest single “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” is currently sitting at #5, but has been climbing at a steady pace. Many suspect that she will reach this record very soon.

This is exciting news for Katy, and even more exciting milestone to set. I am happy for her, but I would say that they should have waited to speak up about it after she reached it. Some fans and others might try to ruin her chances to knock down the legend Michael down. While that might not happen, I would still be cautious about it by all means.
