The Olden Days at Lee Tai Fu
Lee Tai Fu is just minutes away from Tiong Bahru MRT Station. Easy to locate.
It's a great place to hang out for a meal with friends, and enjoy being spoiled by their wide selection of craft beers and ciders.
The owner, Derek, always gives best recommendations, so be sure to approach him! It's a place that would bring back those old nostalgia with its old school decor where you try using their telephone!
They are currently having 2 promotions ongoing! If your birthday falls on that day, you will be given discounts according to your age. So if you are 25 years old, you will receive a 25% off on your meal. And if you are 78 years old, you will receive a 78% off on your meal.
Definitely not like any other restaurants!
The other promo is for kids who excel in their studies. If your kid gets a F to a D or a D to a C grade, just bring your exam papers with the excelled grades and you get to get discounts on your kid's meal!
Don't Miss Out on Toby's The Dessert Asylum
The last time I visited Toby's was when it was located at Parkway Parade. And now I am here again. It has relocated at Tradehub 21 Boon Lay instead which was of course nearer to my house!
This American-style café has an innumerable items on its menu. Turn that menu around and you will be facing with an equally packed menu for its desserts and drinks. So yes, it may be an asylum (for its sheer huge menu), but no, it’s surely not just about desserts here.
The number of items on the menu has also increased.
The Hulk-a-Mania was definitely refreshing especially during hot and humid weathers in Singapore!
But the one drink that kicked ass was the Lychee Lust. Sweet, tasty and heavenly. I was so lusting over it!
The Stay at Hotel Clover. 5 Hong Kong Street, Singapore
No.1 for location, easy access to everything. S$10 taxi to Vivo City to catch Sentosa Express to all the fun activities on Sentosa Island!
Walking distance from Boat Quay, Marina Bay Sands & Clarke Quay.
No amount of gadgets and frills can compensate for lack of space and ambiance,
But the 5 star hospitality of staff compensated some as did the 5 star AC, so far the only AC system in technology boosting Singapore that cools good but makes no sound at all !!!
